Clear- Side Dot: Circular decorative markers. They are placed on the fretboard or on the side of the neck on electric and acoustic guitars, basses, bouzoukis, and mandolins.
- Acetone paste: Flexible decorative material. Used for making bindings, picks, staff lines, or protective pickguards on bouzoukis and guitars.
- Marquetry: Composite decorative strips with geometric patterns. They are used mainly on the outline or the top of bouzoukis, lutes, mandolins, ouds, and acoustic guitars.
- Rosette: Central decorative element around the sound hole. It is placed on the sound hole of kanun, lavta, politiki laouta, oud, and acoustic/classical guitars.
- Fillet: Thin strips (binding/purfling) for protection and decoration. Used at the joints/edges of the bodies/contours of mandolins, violins, guitars, lutes, and bouzoukis.
