Clear- Twin Wheel: A stationary electric tool with two circular grinding wheels. It is mainly used for grinding, sharpening cutting tools (such as axes, chisels, drills), and removing rust or burrs from hard metals.
- Sander / Grinder: A multifunction tool that combines a traditional grinding wheel and a moving sanding belt. It offers maximum versatility, as the wheel handles heavy metal grinding, while the belt is ideal for smooth, even sanding
- Dry: Grinding without the use of water or coolant. It is the most common and fastest method for general tasks, material removal, and shaping.
- Liquid: Grinding using water that continuously cools the disc and the material. It operates at much lower speeds and prevents the metal from overheating.
- The motor’s electrical power in watts. It determines how easily the wheel can handle hard materials without “sticking” or slowing down its rotation when pressure is applied.
- The outer diameter of the grinding stone/disc. It determines the maximum grinding depth and the working surface.
- The size of the abrasive belt (strip), defined by its width and total length. The width determines the contact surface with the material, while the length affects the belt’s durability
