Clear- Up to 100W: Suitable for basic processors (Intel i3, Ryzen 3) and office computers. Ideal for simple everyday use, without demands for heavy gaming or video editing.
- Mid-range (101W - 180W): The sweet spot for mainstream processors (Intel i5/i7, Ryzen 5/7). It ensures stable temperatures in gaming PCs and everyday productivity applications.
- High-end (181W+): Essential for top-tier processors (Intel i9, Ryzen 9). It provides maximum cooling power for heavy rendering, demanding gaming, and preventing thermal throttling.
- Active: The most common type of cooler uses a fan to remove heat.
- Passive: Fanless coolers, usually bulkier than active ones but completely silent.
- Low Profile: Coolers with a low profile to fit in small computer cases.
- ARGB: Allows control of each LED individually.
- RGB: Requires each LED to have the same color.
- Up to 20dB (Silent): Almost complete silence. The sound is comparable to the rustling of leaves or a whisper in a quiet room. Ideal for office computers, home theater (HTPC), or if you want absolute silence when working at night.
- 20-30dB (Quiet): "golden rule". It is the typical sound of a quiet home or a library. It sounds like a soft fan in the background, which is usually completely covered if you are wearing headphones or if music is playing. The best choice for everyday use and gaming.
- 30dB and Above (Audible): Usually refers to coolers that operate at full power (overclocking) or small, high-speed fans. Recommended if you care only about maximum cooling performance and don’t mind the noise.
