Clear- Case / Carrying Bag: Hard or fabric cases for the safe storage and protection of the microphone from dust and impacts during transport.
- Mount: The clips or clamps that screw onto stands and hold the body of the microphone in place.
- Capsules: The internal, more sensitive replacement component of the microphone that "listens" and converts the voice into an electrical signal.
- Receiver: The device that receives the wireless signal from the microphone and sends it to the console, camera, or computer.
- Cables & Plugs: Specialized cables (such as XLR or mini-jack) and plugs for connecting microphones to audio devices.
- Adapter: Components that change the type of plug (e.g. from XLR to Jack) or the base thread, allowing you to connect the microphone to devices or stands that would not normally be compatible.
- Transmitter: The device (usually a bodypack that attaches to the belt) that receives the sound from the microphone (e.g. lavalier) and transmits it wirelessly to the receiver.
- Power Supply: Power adapters to supply energy to wireless microphone receivers or Phantom Power devices.
- Antenna: Replacement or reinforced antennas for wireless receivers, ensuring stable signal over longer distances.
- Grip: External handles that attach to microphones (e.g. wireless lavalier mics) so you can hold them in your hand like a regular reporter microphone.
- Charger: Desktop charging bases for quickly charging batteries or the wireless microphones themselves after use.
- Battery: Rechargeable batteries or special battery packs designed exclusively for the operation of wireless transmitters and receivers.
