- Coal: They are mainly used in painting, as they achieve a deeper black. They smudge more than graphite pencils. They require a special eraser for erasing.
- Graphite: Ideal for all uses, especially for writing and drawing.
- Triangular: Offers a more stable and ergonomic grip. Ideal for children, learning to write, and prolonged use.
- Round: Provides a comfortable grip and freedom of movement. Suitable for general use, writing, and drawing.
- Hexagon: Offers good control and a stable grip, while not rolling easily off the desk. Suitable for everyday writing and drawing.
- Drawing (Soft): Suitable for shading and bold lines.
- Writing & School (Medium): Suitable for everyday writing, note-taking, and school use.
- Technical Drawing (Hard): Suitable for fine lines and tasks that require precision.
