The board game Royals by Arcane Wonders is a strategy game in which players take on the roles of 17th-century noble families competing for dominance in Europe. They use country cards to claim positions and earn victory points, while intrigue cards allow them to challenge positions that have already been claimed. Higher-ranking positions require more country cards.

The game lasts three periods, with scoring after each one. At each scoring, the players with the most influence in each of the four countries earn victory points. After the third scoring period, points from individual titles are counted, and the player with the most points is declared the winner.
