I have the pcx 125 model 2012. Before buying it, I did extensive research and all the stores were bragging that it fits my model and that installation takes 5 minutes. I'm writing all this so that you don't waste your money on it, as it cost me 110 euros that I couldn't spare. Meanwhile, no store installs it.
Initially, it doesn't fit my model even though it is recommended for this model on the company's website.
1. It doesn't cover the entire seat as claimed, resulting in the seat getting wet in the rain and also the rider.
2. It doesn't adequately or at all cover the body from the waist down, resulting in the hips, waist, and legs being exposed to cold and rain. Especially in the rain, since it doesn't cover properly, water gets inside and makes it wet. Tested today in the rain.
3. Even for the cold, today with a temperature of 18 degrees, I felt intense cold on my legs that were covered by the pants.
INSTALLATION chapter: There were a total of 3 installation attempts.
1st attempt by my husband and the mechanic who fixes motorcycles, and it was a FAILURE. On my first ride, the strap came off on the lower side of the vehicle, luckily it happened on Alexandras Avenue and not on the National Road where I could have been killed.
2nd attempt, my husband gathered all the straps and tied them together so that they wouldn't come loose again.
3rd attempt by the importing company of the product, "Baxevanis," very polite and helpful indeed, but they also found that it doesn't cover the seat properly, doesn't adequately cover the legs, and as for the warmth, let's not even talk about it, boots and thick clothes were mentioned. But as for the installation, let me tell you that I sat in the company for at least 30 minutes, maybe even more, until the very helpful young man could install it correctly, but it was still loose, so the 5 minutes they claim is definitely not true. They brought another one, thinking that the first one was defective, but no, in general, the model doesn't fit.
They kept my phone number to ask me a question and we'll see, they say
