Description

Color inkjet multifunction printer for home offices. The Canon MAXIFY MB2750 Series offers mobile device printing and cloud application integration, while the 500-sheet paper capacity and high black-and-white printing speed of 24 ipm maximize productivity.

Advantages

  • Real productivity: 24 images/min in black and white mode, 15.5 images/min in color mode
  • Black ink yield 1,200 pages and color inks 900 pages
  • Large capacity of 500 sheets and automatic document feeder of 50 sheets
  • Wireless (Wi-Fi) and wired networking for printing and scanning
  • Print and scan from/to cloud services

For home offices with high productivity demands

A machine with full printing, scanning, copying, and faxing capabilities, designed for home offices. With the large 500-sheet paper tray and the 50-sheet automatic document feeder, the Canon Maxify MB2750 Series produces excellent prints with deep and dense black, vibrant colors, and crisp text thanks to the DRHD inks, which are resistant to markers and friction.

This quality does not come at the expense of speed: black and white printing in A4 size at a high speed of 24 images per minute and color printing at a speed of 15.5 images per minute, while the time to produce the first page (FPOT) is just 6 seconds.

Minimizing Operating Costs

From the low energy consumption, which is just 0.2kWh (TEC), to the independently replaceable color ink cartridges, economy takes priority. The black ink cartridges yield 1,200 pages according to ISO, while the color ink cartridges reach 900 pages.

The optional 4-color multipack contains a complete set of replacement inks for even better cost-performance ratio.

Designed for productivity

With double-sided printing and support for various sizes and types of paper from plain A4 to labels, envelopes, and photo paper, or even with double-sided ID card copying, the usual printing tasks of an office become very easy.

Printing, copying, scanning, and faxing require minimal selections on the 7.5cm (3") color TFT touch screen, which offers quick response and an improved user interface.

Immediate support for mobile devices, cloud services, and every task

Support for Apple AirPrint (iOS) and Mopria services, as well as the Canon PRINT app, ensures quick and easy printing and scanning from/to mobile devices. You can print documents from cloud services, as well as scan and save documents to cloud services.

Supported services include Google Drive, Dropbox, Evernote, OneNote, OneDrive, and Concur. The built-in Access Point mode allows smart device users to connect to the printer without a Wi-Fi network.

Comprehensive monitoring and maintenance capabilities

IP address filtering allows selective access restriction and the granting of relevant rights to selected users, while SMTP protocol support for email enables secure scanning and sending to email addresses.

A range of additional options allows system administrators to quickly and easily configure printer parameters and restrict specific processes, such as scanning to USB devices.

The package includes

  • Canon Maxify MB2750
  • Power cable
  • Basic ink tanks
  • Installation CD for Windows (Mac drivers available online)

    • Friendly advice: avoid updates via the internet to avoid problems with disconnections.

I am sharing my experience with a Maxify MB2750 printer, which after the latest firmware upgrade kept disconnecting from the network, and in the end, a solution that worked for quite some time but did not permanently solve the disconnection problem. While for a while there was no issue, after turning the router and the MB2750 off and on, the printer started disconnecting from the wireless network, requiring driver reinstallation to restore its functionality. CONCLUSION: Friendly advice, avoid updates via the internet, otherwise there is a high chance of continuous disconnections (and possibly issues with compatible inks)! The purpose of technology is to make our lives easier, not to test our patience.

On 27-10-2018, I bought a Canon MAXIFY MB2750 Multifunction Printer from a well-known large department store. It is used for home use for scanning, with printouts of about 50-100 pages/month and always using genuine inks. Until 22.12.2025, it worked satisfactorily without problems, but AFTER THE LAST FIRMWARE UPGRADE from Canon Cloud, the printer became PROBLEMATIC with messages "Printer offline" and inability to scan and print, whether it was connected wirelessly via WiFi to the router or wired via RJ45, and with antivirus disabled. The connection always remained problematic after the last firmware upgrade regardless of which version I used (revisions 1.02, 1.04, 1.1, 1.2) of the program and drivers (MB2700 series Full Driver & Software Package) for Win11 from the CANON EUROPE site. The result was ALWAYS THE SAME. If it lost the connection, I would reinstall the drivers and print, scan for a few minutes, but after an hour of printer inactivity and PC use, the printer appeared as offline "PRINTER OFFLINE" and would not connect to the network either wired or wirelessly. And so, back to the beginning every time. Conclusion: The situation would improve for a while either by rebooting the PC or by continuously reinstalling the CANON drivers, but then the same issues would return. If I turned the printer off and on, it was not guaranteed that I could print again because most likely it would remain OFFLINE and not be seen by the PC even if I set a static IP address from the PC (Win11) matching the one the printer got from the router, or by setting a static IP from the printer's panel. I had researched it quite a bit and spent many hours trying to bring it back ONLINE but without success (whether from Win11, from the antivirus, or from the printer settings). The known methods found on YouTube, Canon's site, and various forums did not help at all. I contacted CANON HELLAS and CANON Customer Care with a written message, but the response was a generic guide, none of which fixed the situation. I asked to revert to the previous firmware version, but this cannot be done by the user. So I always resorted to reinstalling the drivers. And then back to the beginning. The same problem continued even after uninstalling (with REVO) all CANON programs from the PC and using "ADD A PRINTER" from Win11. The paradox was that when Win11 saw the MB2750, its own application "Canon Wi-Fi Connection Assistant" did not see it at all!!

Now for the good news: it is a fairly sturdy and heavy multifunction device with a professional appearance, good quality plastics, and quality construction and assembly (it doesn't look "cheap" like the corresponding HP multifunction devices with their low-quality plastics that "rattle"). It looks and is solidly built. It comes with a host of auxiliary applications that are very useful and make things easier. The supports on the scanner lid have strong springs that lift it evenly on all sides so it rests horizontally and steadily over the object being scanned on the glass surface (a feature not often seen in other scanners). The scanned files are almost editable (see OCR) and you can copy several sentences from a scanned page. The automatic document feeder (ADF) works flawlessly, has never jammed paper or taken double sheets (never had a problem). It has 2 trays and holds a total of 250+250 sheets. It has automatic duplex printing but does not have duplex scanning because it has a single scanner. Its inks are not very expensive, prints are fast, but the colors are slightly distorted and do not come out correctly (the shade you see on the screen is different from what is printed). For 8 consecutive years, it worked very well. Unlike all my previous HP multifunction devices over the past 30 years, each of which did not last more than 4 years. At the four-year mark, as if they had an internal timer, they all failed with an error indication and were useless for disposal as if they were consumables, without having printed many pages. So I decided "NEVER AGAIN HP". At least the Canon MAXIFY MB2750 continues to print, scan, and work flawlessly after 8 consecutive years as long as it remains connected to the network (even with the occasional disconnection problems). Obviously, IT DOES NOT HAVE THE TIMER OF HEWLETT PACKARD MULTIFUNCTION DEVICES THAT BECOME USELESS AFTER 4 YEARS.

UPDATE 22.12.2025: Since after the last firmware upgrade of the printer, all previous actions to resolve the continuous disconnection problem FAILED MISERABLY (including help from CANON Customer Care), I did the following actions, resulting in the printer working normally for a while and remaining connected to the wi-fi network wirelessly without disconnections and printing/scanning normally:

    1) Uninstalled all CANON drivers,
    2) Did a DOUBLE HARDWARE RESET on the printer (see below)
    3) Reinstalled all CANON drivers

Method 1: Hard Reset (Button Combination)
    1. Turn the printer off.
    2. Press and hold the Stop button for 2 seconds, then press and hold the On button while still holding Stop.
    3. Release the Stop button but keep holding the On button.
    4. Press the Stop button 5 times while holding the On button.
    5. Release the On button. The printer will enter a reset state (blank LCD screen). Wait for it to finish, then press the On button to restart.

    Method 2: Factory Reset (Menu)
    1. From the home screen, navigate to Setup; Device Settings; Reset Settings.
    2. Choose Reset All for a full factory reset (deletes Wi-Fi, fax, etc.)

UPDATE 22.02.2026: The printer continues to work and print/scan normally connected to the wireless network, although I have not turned off the printer or the router at all. Only problem: the first printed page takes a very long time (see patience).

UPDATE 26.02.2026: After turning the printer off and on, the printer started having disconnections from the wireless network again. It required another double reset and driver reinstallation to work. Only problem: the first printed page takes a very long time (see patience).

UPDATE 24.03.2026: The printer continues to work and print/scan normally connected to the wireless network. The first printed page takes a very long time (see patience).

It is a printer designed for small offices or if you have a significant volume of printing. Personally, I used it for about a year at home for a relatively small number of prints and intermittent periods of non-use. I don't know if that was the reason, but before it reached its time limit and as soon as I returned from vacation, during a period in which it was not used for at least 1 1/2 months, when I tried to print something, it gave me the terrible error 5200, which means at best a print head replacement! The cost of replacement at the official service? From €120 to €135, which means immediate recycling. I tried to do a factory reset, even opening the print head and careful cleaning, but nothing worked. Even a second Maxify 2350 from my wife's school showed the exact same problem after a few months of operation. In my opinion, do not choose it if you want a reliable machine that you will have for years. It's a shame for Canon because I was traditionally a fan of the brand.

The connection with the iPhone impressed me. I downloaded the app and immediately recognized the printer that was connected to wifi. In about ten seconds, it had even printed a photo that I had on my phone. On the other hand, the installation on the computer was a bit more time-consuming but relatively easy. However, it prints quickly and with good quality, it is double-sided and with economical ink, even though I have not yet used it intensively. I had 18 years of experience with several hp all-in-one printers and I feel justified in switching to Canon. I highly recommend it, it is great value for money.

  • • Friendly advice: avoid updates via the internet to avoid problems with disconnections.
