Purchased for €99 on Black Friday. Slow printing, does not work well with imitation inks (requires frequent cleanings), fast ADF scan, convenient 250-sheet cassette, easy installation. One year later, while still under warranty, it displayed an error and stopped working. Canon has 2 service partners and they are asking me to send it to Athens at my own expense (11kg package). Simply unacceptable!

I have it for a few years, a little trouble with the refills but what can you do? It scans quickly but lately it has been producing terrible photocopies, with scattered lines and marks. I've tried cleaning it multiple times (as many times as the menu allows) but nothing. I asked a printer technician and he told me it's not worth repairing, it's going for recycling and I regret spending so much money on it because I thought it would last longer.

Ρωτησα εναν τεχνικο εκτυπωτων και μου ειπε δεν αξιζει η επισκευη,παει για ανακυκλωση και κακως που εδωσα τοτε τοσα λεφτα γιατι νομιζα θα κρατησει παραπανω.
If one of the ink cartridges runs out, it stops printing and needs to be replaced. Be careful, it only accepts its genuine ones, if you use compatible ones, you won't have good quality and will need constant print cleaning. It's a hassle. I do not recommend it.

It prints very fast, but scans like a turtle. If you have to scan a book, it takes a lot of time...
However, the ADF is very fast in scanning and very useful. You can put up to 50 sheets and it pulls them by itself to photocopy or scan them. You can scan directly to your Google Drive or to a flash drive.
The cassette holds 250 sheets, which is practical and you don't have to constantly refill it, and the sheets don't get dusty like when they are standing upright at the back.
The ink cartridges cost about 60 euros for all 4. They are more economical than HP's, which cost around 100 euros for the equivalent. But if you really want economical printing and you don't care about many functions, you should get the Epson L3070.
It's a machine that does it all and for average use, it's worth it and more.
Do not under any circumstances use compatible ink cartridges or consider refilling its own cartridges, as it damages the print head while losing some of the functions that only apply with genuine ink cartridges. It's worth the 140 euros.
On the downside, it's bulky and heavy, but with an ADF, a 250-sheet cassette, a screen, and a keyboard, it can't get any smaller.
Εκτυπώνει πολύ γρήγορα, αλλα σκαναρει σαν τη χελωνα. Αν έχεις να σκανάρεις βιβλίο θέλεις αρκετό χρόνο...
Το ADF όμως είναι πολύ γρήγορο στο σκανάρισμα και πολύ χρήσιμο. Βαζεις ως 50 φύλλα και τα τραβάει μονο του για να τα φωτοτυπησει η να σκαναρει. Μπορεις να σκαναρεις κατευθειαν στο Google drive σου ή σε φλασάκι.
Η κασέτα παίρνει 250 φύλλα που είναι πρακτικό και δε χρειάζεται να γεμίζεις συνέχεια, αλλά και δε σκονίζονται τα φύλλα όπως όταν είναι όρθια στο πίσω μέρος.
Τα μελάνια κοστίζουν περίπου 60 ευρω και τα 4. Ειναι πιο οικονομικά απο της HP που κοστίζουν τα αντίστοιχα 100.
Αλλά αν θέλεις πραγματικά οικονομική εκτύπωση και δε σε ενδιαφέρουν οι πολλές λειτουργίες, παίρνεις τον Epson L3070.
Είναι ένα μηχάνημα που τα κάνει όλα και για μια μέση χρήση αξιζει με το παραπανω.
Μη πάρετε σε καμία περίπτωση συμβατά μελάνια ή να σκεφτείτε να γεμίσετε τα δικά του , χαλάει η κεφαλή ενώ χάνετε κάποιες από τις λειτουργίες που ισχύουν μόνο με τα αυθεντικά μελλανια.
Για τα 140 του ευρω αξίζει.

If one of the ink cartridges runs out, it stops printing and needs to be replaced. Be careful, it only accepts its genuine ones, if you use compatible ones, you won't have good quality and will need constant print cleaning. It's a hassle. I do not recommend it.
