The charging port is detachable so that it remains permanently attached to your device. When you want to charge your device (or connect it to your computer), just bring the cable close, and it "sticks" magnetically to the connector installed on your device... and charging starts automatically!

    It works the first time. Once you take it out and try to reuse it later, it doesn't work. After many attempts, it might start charging the iPhone, but then it stops again after a while (tested on 5, 5s, 6s, SE with iOS 10 & 11).
