No comparison... they cook in the air without oil and in my opinion, it's like eating paper... of course, this probably applies to all those devices that make popcorn with air.

It makes a lot of noise and gave me problems from the first uses! I used it twice and it would malfunction and stop working.... The good thing is that it has a warranty, so I hope that this specific device is faulty and they will simply replace it for me

A week after the purchase, it stopped working properly. It wouldn't even pop 10 popcorn kernels, so I requested a return. However, since I had thrown away the receipt and packaging, the store wouldn't accept it (...). So, I kept it.

I opened it (very strange that it had different screws) and saw that it has a 180-degree thermal sensor in the container. I placed it in a different spot that heats up less (lower) and now it works relatively well... but it is still risky

The measuring cup for the quantity is the top lid. Also, you should wait for it to cool down for a few minutes before using it again.

It is a very good choice for anyone who eats a lot of popcorn and prefers a healthier version! They become very crispy but unfortunately, they are a bit bland because without oil, the salt doesn't stick to them! Anyway, it does what it says!

I have had it for about 6 months and I make 2-3 bowls of popcorn almost every day.
Conclusions. 1. The seeds you will use play a big role in the crispiness and whether they will "pop" almost all of them. I tried almost 6 different brands.
2. I found a small coffee cup that I use as a measuring cup. At first, I only put the seeds and they all popped, filling up my bowl.
3. Then I thought of adding a few drops of sunflower oil and a little salt after I put them in the measuring cup. The result? A much tastier popcorn, but not all of them came out in the bowl anymore, a quantity remained in the machine and I had to carefully open the machine and pour the rest of the popcorn into the bowl with a towel. Also, with the oil and salt, the machine gets messy and needs cleaning. So choose and take. Clean and fast popcorn or tastier but with the "above" difficulties?
Final update. It was ultimately a big mistake to use sunflower oil and salt with the popcorn. The motor of the machine got destroyed and the machine was thrown away. This machine works well only by adding popcorn seeds. NOTHING ELSE!!

Very good machine! It has a large capacity and makes the popcorn very crispy and tasty. It doesn't throw them like some others and if it gets too hot, it shuts off on its own. Very good purchase, highly recommended!

When it was time to choose a hot air popcorn machine, I was hesitant because some machines mentioned by users produce soft popcorn like gum. Fortunately, this machine is not such a case. I bought the corn from a store with dried fruits. Within 2 minutes, it fills a small pot and the result is more than satisfactory. We are thrilled with the speed and simplicity and that it is truly crispy. You will only find something crispier in a store or in bags, but there it will not be as healthy due to the mixes they use. If you research it, you will see that it is not just butter that gives it that yellow color.

Apart from that, you can make your own mix separately, mix it, and it's ready.

The plastic parts heat up quite a bit, but for now, they don't inspire any fear. I also think that you should let it cool for a while before using it again. I would say at least half an hour or more. This is not a problem for a family of 4 since the quantity in one use corresponds to 3.5 full soup plates of popcorn.

The noise is something that is not mentioned but it should be known that it is quite loud, like a small electric vacuum cleaner.

The unpopped kernels at the end that you will find are so few that they are not a problem. With the pot, I had ten times as many.

A very good purchase. I hope it withstands the test of time. If not, I will change the evaluation.

I am satisfied. Fast, can take a little salt and a little butter if someone wants (although it is not necessary). It has protection against overheating (it will shut off on its own). Very nice popcorn with very few or no unpopped kernels.

The negatives are:
- The plastic. The transparent perimeter has started to crack (but it's okay) due to temperature changes, while the red lid is HORRIBLE plastic that overheats (it should have had some outlet holes maybe) and warps. I have found a solution, to put a square bowl with water on top. It heats up the water and keeps the lid straight (with the weight) and at a reduced temperature.
- The "spout" is difficult to clean, especially for thick-bearded men.
