Sturdy construction, apparently resistant to regular movements of HDD and SSD disks.
The package includes the necessary screws for installation in the desktop chassis, but does not include SATA data transfer cables or power cables.
The release buttons for the HDD and SSD disks and the indicator lights are very useful.
The device does not have a fan and does not add noise to the operation of the desktop.
For my own use, the power switch of the device is particularly useful, mainly because I use the HDD and SSD disks that I place there for backup and transfer of large files.
According to the manufacturer, the disks can be hot-pluggable, but I have not tested it yet.
Finally, the name of the company ("ICY DOCK") may be misleading to some, as it is easily confused with "ICY BOX" from Raidsonic.
All in all, considering its price, the device is very satisfactory and I recommend it for SOHO use.

EDIT: After approximately 8 months of use, I would like to add the following:
Attention! According to my own experience, the disks are NOT fully hot-pluggable. Specifically, I disconnected a hard drive (WD Black 3TB) when it was not in a read/write process, and reconnected it without turning off the power supply (which exists in the device). This was repeated 4-5 times within a month. The last time I tried it, the disk was damaged and the S.M.A.R.T. report showed a Poor Health indication in the reassigned sectors. The only way I managed to save the disk from recycling (but losing all the files) was to perform a low-level format using HDDGuru software, which took several hours.
On the other hand, in the same experiment with a Samsung EVO 870 500GB SSD, I have not had any problems so far.
Overall, the device's functionality remains satisfactory.

It does the job it is intended for. The only flaw is the eject for the discs, which does not work well. You have to apply excessive force to push the disc out, and I don't know how much the plastic front will withstand.
