Please do not be swayed by the positive reviews and purchase this specific scale.

1) I confirm that there is a serious issue with the batteries. I have had it for 8 months and it has already consumed the batteries twice. Moreover, the second set of batteries lasted only 2 months. With 2-3 weighings per day. It takes button batteries and they run out very quickly.

2) The scale weighs the same every time you step on it consecutively. However, it has a difference of almost one kilogram compared to a very accurate professional scale.

3) The body fat measurement function is essentially useless. It only takes into account the information you input (age, height, physical activity, and weight). If the weight increases for any reason, it will show more fat. If you drink a bottle of water and weigh half a kilogram more, it will show more body fat as well. So it does not measure fat accurately.

4) The scale lacks accuracy in body fat measurement. I have access to a professional body fat analyzer and it shows me 5-6% more than the actual when I input the correct physical activity. It also miscalculates the metabolism calories completely.

Therefore, since the body fat measurement function is almost useless and it quickly consumes batteries, I believe it is not worth purchasing for any reason.

It is better to buy a very cheap scale only for weighing and measure fat loss with a tape measure.

If you get bored reading the instructions (like I did) and you're not tech-savvy, you will struggle at first. For example, I was wondering why it wasn't working even though it had batteries inside, when all it needed was to remove a small transparency that covered them (don't judge), I couldn't find where the indication converts from pounds to kilograms, even though it was a simple, distinguishable button on the base next to the battery compartment ("but why did they put it down there"), I was wondering how to do the body fat measurements, etc. and I failed even though I followed the steps in the manual (which I easily found online because I can't remember if I had it and where I put the original). The purpose was achieved with a few movements.

Update: after ten months of use, I confirm the battery problem mentioned by others. I have already changed them twice and I imagine I will need a third one before time is up. In total, in three years it will be almost like refilling the scale.
I would overlook the above if it accurately fulfilled its primary purpose. However, I noticed that unfortunately it lacks stability in weighing and can deviate significantly (from 200 to 1200 grams) within a few minutes. Therefore, if accuracy is important to you, you are not covered.

The scale has accurate weight measurement (meaning that if you step on it 2-3 consecutive times, it will show the same weight), but it has a serious problem with the batteries. The ones that were included in the package were depleted in less than 2 weeks (in 3-4 measurements, that is). Initially, I thought they might have been "old" (meaning they had been inside the package for a long time and discharged) or defective. I changed the batteries and the same thing happened again. I changed the batteries for the third time, and this time I even used a well-known/high-quality brand. Within 1 week and after only 3 weighings, the batteries were depleted again! I did some research on the internet where there are hundreds of reviews for this specific scale, and by reading only 30-40 of them, I found 3 references that highlighted this particular problem (rapid and completely unjustified battery discharge), so I didn't continue reading further. From what I saw, there is even a mention from another user, on skroutz, about the exact same problem, for a different model of scale, of course (BF 180), from the same company (Beurer). The device has a 3-year warranty, of course, but the service center is located somewhere in Kifisia, and for its price, I don't know if it's worth the trouble to go there for a replacement (it will cost me more...).

UPDATE: The problem with the batteries improves significantly when the scale is used only for weight measurement and not for body fat measurement. I avoided the body fat measurement and weighed myself over 40 times (within 4-5 months), and the batteries are still holding up. This, of course, applies more to those who have already purchased the scale, it's not like you should throw it away, you can keep it, but only as a regular scale. However, for those who are "looking" to buy it, I don't think it's worth buying a scale with body fat measurement, but not using the body fat measurement function because the batteries will be depleted in no time.

For its price, it is a pretty good product with reliable measurements! I happen to already have a Beurer kitchen scale for 3 years, which continues to measure reliably. Having gained my trust in kitchen scales, I decided to buy this one.
Its setup is very easy! Also, its measurements (since it measures 7 different variables!!) are reliable, especially the weight measurement.
Furthermore, as stated in the instructions, it is not a medically covered scale to serve as a reference point in medical terms, but it provides the necessary information regarding water percentage, muscle mass percentage, bone weight, body weight, and BMI (body mass index). Also, always in relation to weight and level of physical exercise, it provides the required calories for weight maintenance (assuming that the intensity of physical exercise DOES NOT CHANGE in the long term). What do I mean by this? That if someone starts going to the gym, running on a treadmill, walking on the streets, or any form of exercise that requires a redefinition of the level of physical activity, it is logical for the calorie intake to change as well. The person who sits glued to a couch and eats potato chips all day in front of the TV cannot have the same metabolic rate as someone who sweats on the moving belts of a gym treadmill or does exercises with the help of weights...
In short, for now, I am satisfied and the measurement of body weight is accurate, as there is a comparison with an old French TEFAL... If necessary, I will come back with an update, as I have done with other reliable products...
