Melilax Pediatric micro-enema, combats constipation with promelaxin.

The product releases the bowel, has a protective action, and reduces discomfort, irritability, and inflammation observed in cases of constipation.

Indications: Melilax Pediatric is indicated for the treatment of constipation in children and infants, even in the presence of hypersensitivity (such as in cases of irritable bowel), fissures, and hemorrhoids.

Action: Melilax Pediatric combines a balanced evacuative action with protective and soothing action for the rectal mucosa. The dual action of Melilax is achieved thanks to PROMELAXIN, a honey complex from nectar and honey, specially selected and processed according to its content in monosaccharides, polysaccharides, and melanoidins, enriched with the polysaccharide fraction from aloe and mallow.

Melilax Pediatric exerts an evacuative action that triggers a stimulus for defecation. Also, thanks to its mucus-like properties and viscous nature, it protects the rectal mucosa during the passage of stools. These special properties, combined with antioxidant action, provide the product with the ability to protect and, therefore, soothe the mucosa.

Ingredients: Functional substances 73.2%; Promelaxin complex with honey and polysaccharides from aloe and mallow; Titrated in: monosaccharides ≥ 50%, polysaccharides (Molecular weight > 20,000 Dalton) ≥ 0.3%; Also contains: hydro-glyceric mixture, lemon juice, lavender essential oil.

Usage: Children aged 3-12 years: 1 micro-enema of 5 g, as needed. In case of persistent constipation, apply 2 consecutive doses. Children aged 1-3 years: 1 micro-enema of 5 g, as needed. Infants aged 0-1 year: half a micro-enema of 5 g, as needed. Consult the leaflet for more details.

Warnings: Do not use in cases of hypersensitivity or individual allergy to one or more components of the product. In case of persistent constipation, it is important to consult a doctor to rule out other pathologies. The micro-enema is single-use, therefore, it cannot be reused when administering half a dose, as in the case of infants.
