Probiotics are very important for the proper functioning of the intestine, and the intestine, in turn, plays a very important role in overall human health (according to Hippocrates, all diseases start in the intestine). This particular supplement has 10 different strains and 25 billion bacteria per pill (keep in mind that approximately 1/3 has died over time in the bottle, and out of the remaining, half will be killed by stomach acid). If someone consumes pickles and other fermented foods, they do not need any probiotic supplement (consider that, for example, 10 grams of sauerkraut have approximately 45-60 billion good bacteria!)
