As Manji is busy with three ruthless swordsmen of Itto-Ryu, his protected one, Rin, tries to pass through the imperial checkpoints in order to follow the traces of her parents' murderer, Anotsu Kagehisa. However, the guards of these checkpoints are not easy to deceive, especially since Rin is wanted - even unjustly - for the murder of two people.
