What led me to purchase this kettle was its appearance. So, when I first held it in my hands, I was impressed (negatively) by its weight. It also seems to take relatively longer to boil 1.7L of water (compared to a TEFAL one I had before), considering its price.

It seems like a high-quality and sturdy kettle. It boils 1.7 liters in five minutes. It does make some noise, but it doesn't bother me. It appears that it will last for years. It has a metal interior and exterior. It leaves a few water droplets on the filling indicator, but the manual says it's normal. I hope it lasts forever... haha, that's just me

Positive, it doesn't easily catch salt. Negatives, it burns on the outside a lot, makes a lot of noise, and takes a long time to reach boiling point. I had an old model of Tefal for 15 years, which was a superior tool.

I have had it for about two weeks, the reason for buying it is that it is stainless steel because I don't want to boil on plastic surfaces. I noticed after checking that it has a small silicone cover in one spot (in contact with water) that covers a screw or something like that, I would prefer it not to have it at all, so that's why 4 stars.
    It boils quickly and satisfactorily.
Now, for salts, it depends on the water used, but it cleans easily and that is a positive.

Very high-quality product, full stainless steel inside and does not easily catch salt. The only downside (and somewhat expected) is that it requires a little attention as when the water boils, it burns on the outside, although I have not had a problem holding it by the handle.

  • I have been searching for a long time to buy a Bosch kettle with mainly metal parts and not plastic. The kettle has metal parts, almost no plastic (part of the lid-window is plastic but insulated with metal on the inside), good sturdy construction, good capacity (1.7 liters), powerful (2400W), and the issue of hardness of water depends on the region.
Purchased in March 2020. Previous model BOSCH TWK6A014 COMFORT LINE was all plastic and that's why it was changed.
Note: When I contacted the BOSCH Customer Service Department (210 4277500 - option 3), even the employee did not know if the kettle is actually metal. They would find out and inform me at some point.

From what I searched, I found that it is the only Bosch kettle that has an interior made of stainless steel, without any plastic parts coming into contact with the boiling water. For me, this was a crucial criterion. Its quality seems very good, as for its durability over time, no one can have an opinion unless a few years pass.

It is much faster than you imagine, even if you fill it with water.
I have had it for 6 months now and I am still impressed by its speed and reliability.
Even if I had spent more money, I don't think I could have gotten anything better.

After 3 years, it broke. It started leaking water and messed up everything. If you left water inside when it wasn't working, after 4-5 hours you would notice that the countertop had water. There was no short circuit though. No fuse was blown, everything was fine. I just threw it away because I think it was dangerous.

Unfortunately, I am coming back as 3 years and 3 months after the purchase, it stopped working. However, I managed to fix it myself by opening it from below. The damage was in one of the two contacts of the switch, which did not close the circuit to allow current to pass through the resistor.
