Purchase 10/2018 body only
The 3rd Pentax DSLR I have. The K-70 was chosen for semi-professional use, mainly for jewelry photography with macro and pixel shift, and it did not disappoint. The RAW files with Pixel Shift are amazing! Of course, I also use it for other photos, and it does not disappoint there either. The 24MP is full of detail and there is plenty of room for cropping.
Negatives
- Weight, although compact.
- AF speed, improved compared to previous models but definitely behind other DSLRs.
- Expensive fixed lenses as well as zoom lenses, slow and outdated compared to other brands!
Positives
- Build quality. Made like a solid brick, incredible weather sealing. With the 18-55 WR lens, you have a camera for all weather conditions.
- Stabilization for all lenses! I use lenses that I have from 1980 and at low speeds, which I couldn't imagine, for example, 200mm handheld at 1/20!
- Articulating screen. It helps a lot in flower and insect photography, as well as in the studio on tripods.
- Relatively good and fast WiFi, good application on mobile and tablet. Now there is also a corresponding one for Win10, "WiFi commander."
- RAW file quality 14bit!
Recommended for those who have already invested in Pentax lenses. Excellent for landscapes, portraits, and studio. Not recommended for sports, children running in the yard, and of course for videos.
Until a few years ago, I was a fanatical supporter of Pentax. Now I can judge them more objectively. Top-notch build quality, which lags behind in AF and video compared to other brands. Small and old range of lenses, very few new lenses, expensive compared to other brands. Overrated Limited lens series, which certainly had something exceptional compared to what was available on the market 15 years ago. Check DXO and you will understand. The PK mount has now been abandoned by SIGMA & Tamron! The fact that there are thousands of old MF lenses that can be attached and used with the camera, while being creative and can teach you some things if you want to seriously engage in photography, is NOT practical at all.

Η 3η Pentax DSLR που έχω. Η Κ-70 επιλέχθηκε για ημι-επαγγελματική χρήση, κυρίως για φωτογράφιση κοσμημάτων με macro και pixelshift και δεν απογοήτευσε. Τα RAW αρχεία με Pixel Shift είναι εκπληκτικά!
Εννοείται την χρησιμοποιώ και για άλλες φωτογραφίες, ούτε εκεί απογοήτευσε. Τα 24Mp είναι γεμάτα λεπτομέρεια και υπάρχει αρκετός χώρος για crop.
Αρνητικά
- βάρος, αν και μικρόσωμη.
- ταχύτητα AF, βελτιωμένη σε σχέση με προηγούμενα μοντέλα αλλά σίγουρα πίσω από από άλλες DSLR
- πανάκριβοι σταθεροί φακοί αλλά και zoom, αργοί κ παλαιάς σχεδίασης σε σχέση με άλλες εταιρείες!
Θετικά
- Ποιότητα κατασκευής. Φτιαγμένη σαν συμπαγές τούβλο, φοβερή αδιαβροχοποίηση. Με τον 18-55 WR έχετε μια κάμερα για όλες τις καιρικές συνθήκες
- Σταθεροποίηση για όλους τους φακούς! Χρησιμοποιώ φακούς που έχω από το 1980 και σε ταχύτητες(χαμηλές), που δεν μπορούσα να φανταστώ, πχ 200mm με σταθερό χέρι σε 1/20!
- Σπαστή οθόνη. Βοηθάει αρκετά σε λήψεις λουλουδιών και εντόμων αλλά και στο studio σε τρίποδα.
- Σχετικά καλό γρήγορο WiFi, καλή εφαρμογή σε κινητό κ tablet. Τώρα υπάρχει και ανάλογη για Win10, "WiFi commander".
- Ποιότητα αρχείων RAW 14bit!
Προτείνεται για όσους έχουν ήδη επενδύσει σε Pentax φακούς. Εξαιρετική για τοπία, πορτραίτα, studio.
Δεν προτείνεται για σπορ, παιδιά που τρέχουν σε αυλή και φυσικά για βίντεο.
Μέχρι πριν λίγα χρόνια ήμουν φανατικός οπαδός των Pentax. Τώρα μπορώ να τις κρίνω πιο αντικειμενικά. Kορυφαία ποιότητα κατασκευής, που υστερεί σε AF και video σε σχέση με άλλες εταιρείες. Μικρή κ παλιά γκάμα φακών, ελάχιστοι νέοι φακοί, πανάκριβοι σε σχέση με άλλες εταιρείες. Υπερεκτιμημένη σειρά φακών Limited, που σίγουρα πριν 15 χρόνια κάτι το εξαιρετικό είχαν σε σχέση με τι υπήρχε στη αγορά. Δείτε DXΟ και θα καταλάβετε. Tο mount PK έχει πλέον εγκαταλειφθεί από SIGMA & Tamron! To ότι υπάρχουν χιλιάδες παλιοί φακοί MF που κουμπώνουν και λειτουργούν με την κάμερα, ενώ είναι δημιουργικό και μπορεί να σου μάθει κάποια πράγματα αν θες ν ασχοληθείς σοβαρά με την φωτογραφία, δεν είναι ΚΑΘΟΛΟΥ πρακτικό.
