The "Egnatia Foundation of Epirus" recognizes, promotes, and invokes the cultural heritage of the Vlachs as an integral part of our country, believing that it is time for more systematic research and a clearer presentation of both their historical identity and their current self-perception, as well as the current position of the Latin-speaking Romioi (Modern Greeks).

The foundation, with the desire to help a broader audience understand the theoretical and practical issues, begins this initiative with a presentation of the multidimensional Vlach identity (local, economic, social, demographic, cultural, etc.), as recorded by the camera lens in the early 20th century. We feel justified and proud of this undertaking due to its contribution to the correct interpretation and understanding of the contemporary Vlach identity.
