The deck in Seventh Hero consists of 77 cards, with each card representing one of the seven different heroes. Players start with two random heroes, and each hero has a special power that can be activated once. Each round, a player sends a card from their hand, face down, to the next player, who can choose either to take it or pass it. If they take it, they add it to their team of heroes, but if it is a hero they already have, both hero cards go to the discard pile. Before sending a hero, the player must adhere to the current round's restrictions, such as the card being odd or being below or above a certain number.
The first player to collect six of the seven heroes wins.
