I bought it to connect a wireless mouse receiver to my tablet, and it works great, it found it immediately. I also tried a USB stick and it reads it normally. The only downside is that the second cable (which is meant to provide power to a device that needs it) is a bit heavy, causing it to pull a little when the tablet is upright and the cable hangs freely. If you don't need the female micro USB, prefer a simple OTG cable from USB A to micro USB.
