What can I say about this syrup? As soon as the cough and the mucus started, which always leads to laryngospasm, pharyngitis, laryngitis, and uncontrollable cough due to allergies and very humid climate, it is the first time in 4 years that we managed to overcome it and come out clean. We have tried in vain all the vitamins, antibiotics, probiotics, nebulizers, medications, antihistamines, pills. We have consulted pediatricians, pediatric allergists, and pediatricians in vain, unfortunately. And yet, to my surprise (and with complaints from the doctors, please), because I didn't believe it myself (I only tried it out of desperation), I saw this humble syrup actually helping. It soothes the cough, we avoided laryngitis, the phlegm became more liquid and disappeared completely within three days, it reduced sore throat to one or two days, and in combination with Stepsils/Strepfen and no Algofren in the first few days, we avoided a hurdle that would have deprived us even of the beginning of the school year, and we slept peacefully. I also used the children's version because it has a better taste. The adult version I took afterwards is equally effective. Bravo to the company, I am grateful to you. Update: We had a second crisis two weeks ago due to a cold and worsening weather. I used it again in combination with Septilin, one day of nebulizer, Singulair as usual, and three days of cortisone from the ten-day course that we were taking, and it worked wonders for the child, along with vitamins and probiotics. We overcame it much faster and again without antibiotics and much less cortisone, without ending up with an oxygen bottle this time. For any parent going through what we did, they know that even this is considered a success. However, sometimes it works less on dry cough or bronchitis than on productive cough because dry cough often has other causes/background. Nevertheless, it remains an extremely useful syrup that helps a lot, and I will have it permanently at home. (The above is considered a personal testimony and not medical advice or instructions) P.S. I consider it EXPENSIVE in terms of price though. The other cough syrups are more economical. Update 2021: By the age of 7, we have largely overcome the problem and now only use a nebulizer for laryngitis and singulair systematically during the winter. I keep the syrup for any sore throat.

To me, it doesn't do anything for either of the two kids. They keep coughing until their lungs come out. Last time I end up with a herbal syrup. Such a hassle at night during sleep to not take a regular syrup but a herbal one, I won't go through it again. It doesn't do anything at all, I absolutely do not recommend it to anyone

Very good syrup. It helps a lot. Especially at night, I give it to my son and until 6 in the morning he doesn't cough again! Quite tasty, the little one loves to drink it. The downside is that its price is steep compared to the quantity it has, it runs out quickly. My son is 6.5 years old and I have to give him 1.5 teaspoons each time... Other than that, it is excellent!

Amazing remedy for cough and phlegm, in one week that my little one took it, she got well. However, there is a SERIOUS problem and that is the taste.. The second time my little one got sick again and I tried to give it to her, she vomited it.. The 3 stars are because of this, I tried it too, it's just disgusting, you could have made something better!!

  • For the first 3 to 4 days it is the best. It softens the cough and makes it more productive, but if the cough continues, we should visit a doctor (whether the children's or the adults' version). Pleasant taste (my child compared it to honey) and easy to swallow. I deduct one star because of the price in pharmacies

I believe that any herbal product we take takes time to work, which is logical, so it's a pity for someone to spend 12-16€ on this and other similar products... it requires patience and it will pass...
A little serum for the mucus that causes coughing - a little decongestant - a little chamomile with honey or even honey with lemon and it will subside... my personal opinion and assessment as well as that of the doctor I consult!

Very good product, 2 stars for its price. Especially if bought from a pharmacy and not from the internet, you’re in trouble. It doesn’t have immediate results because it’s not a chemical drug, but it helps the body fight cough naturally. For 4 years now, it hasn’t been missing from the house.

It helped us a lot anyway. The cough started gradually with phlegm. On the second night, he was coughing continuously. The very next day, I started it for him. Well, that night he didn't cough even once. Honestly. And it also helped a lot with the phlegm. 2.5 years old. As for the taste, I don't think he likes it very much, but he drinks it without much pressure.

I feel that it helps somewhat. It definitely doesn't work miracles, but for a product with natural ingredients, it is sufficient to calm the cough symptom a bit. It also has a very nice taste and the child likes it.

I have bought it many times because I see that it helps to soothe the throat and cough. We, who have allergic cough, need something to give to the child to feel better. A herbal like this is just what we need. Given that he will drink it a maximum of 4-5 times during each illness or allergic cough, each bottle lasts us for months.

My 11-year-old son had a cough. I believe it helped him quite a bit as the sore throat went away after two days! We continued with the sprays because in combination with the sore throat, the cough started. In five days, with the spray and grintuss syrup, the cough stopped too! I'm not rushing to draw hasty conclusions, but the result counts!

I bought it from my neighborhood pharmacy. My son is 5.5 years old. Every year we go to the hospital at least twice with a coughing crisis. No medication, including cortisone, syrup, and inhalation, helps him. He constantly gets laryngitis and the cough worsens and brings even more coughing. I tried this one since I have tried EVERYTHING, and I saw dramatic results. Of course, all children are different. At first, it may worsen the cough, but the cough itself is not dangerous, it helps the child "clear out" and find relief. I let him cough quite a bit, and within a few hours, I was shocked when his throat softened and turned into a productive cough. I recommend it for moms and dads who have had a similar experience. (Works wonders along with Zyrtec)

Unfortunately, I find the positive comments laughable. It made my 6-year-old child's cough even worse - one step away from vomiting. In addition, it is extremely expensive for no reason. I believe those who commented with 5 stars are not joking, it just happened that the cough started to improve on its own at the same time they started using this specific syrup. My regards

We were recommended this by our pediatrician. It helps a lot with coughing and it is 100% natural. The effect wears off relatively quickly, but considering that it is herbal and doesn't overload the child with medication, it is a small price to pay.

Half an hour after administering the syrup to my daughter, her cough became more intense and paroxysmal, to the point where she vomited and developed a fever again. I felt really bad for giving it to her and threw it in the trash. Just because it's herbal doesn't mean that the countless ingredients it contains don't cause irritation in the throat of many people. The pediatrician was categorical, no such syrups for children.

  • I also use the adult version, but the one I gave to the little one when he started coughing had completely stopped the cough within a week, so yes, it is indeed very good!

I don't think it helps much. My 3-year-old daughter started coughing and I think it made it worse, especially during her sleep. I will continue it for a few days as the doctor told me.

One of my favorite cough syrups for both kids and adults. It soothes the cough. Quite effective and immediate.

Amazing for kids. I have been using it since my child was a baby, now 7 years old. It works. I give it as soon as the first cough starts and it also boosts their immune system.

Obviously, it won't magically stop the cough, it clearly states that this is not the purpose; at least it is a herbal product, also very expensive!

Nice and pleasant taste. The little one takes it without any issue. What I have noticed is that after each dose, it opens up the throat and softens the phlegm, but I don't know to what extent it relieves the cough, which is the reason I bought it.

The best for productive cough but also for dry cough. At first, there may be a worsening of the cough like all syrups, but then it eliminates it and softens the throat a lot
