I have 2 stray kittens, 1 year old, female, neutered. One of them was fine and accepted the food, but the other immediately had gastrointestinal problems (had constant diarrhea). As soon as we switched to another brand (an expensive brand), the diarrhea stopped immediately!

I find it to be very good food. Tested on 3 cats. Although it contains grains, it did not lead to weight gain while 2-3 quality grain-free options increased the weight in the same cats. It is also good for the coat - it doesn't completely stop shedding but there is a relatively visible improvement. I buy it in bulk from a pet shop - they have a lot and it's fine for the price. Also, I haven't noticed any allergies, increased vomiting, or other symptoms of intolerance. Generally, I wouldn't say it makes the cats lethargic; they are 6-7 years old and I see that they have become more sluggish regardless of the food - even with grain-free they still laze around. I have been using it for about a year and a half.

It is one of the most affordable quality dry foods available. My cat loves it and the classic urinary problem that cats have (struvite stones) disappeared. This particular flavor with rice, compared to others from the same company, helps cats with tendencies for diarrhea but made mine a little constipated. The problem was solved with a little water on the kibbles.

Many years our three cats have been eating this food without any problems. Unlike other foods, they often have digestive issues. Now, after so many years, they even snub the other foods.

I have been using it for 1.5 years for my cats - 3 and 3.5-year-old females. Yesterday, I took them for vaccinations and a check-up, and after an ultrasound, one of them had quite a few crystals in her urinary tract, while the other had fewer - nothing worrisome fortunately, mainly because they are female cats. The vet's first question was what food I give them, and as soon as I told him Matisse, he told me to change it immediately because based on his experience, cats that had problems with their urinary tract were eating Matisse. I considered it value for money, but in the end, it wasn't.

Our cats really like it, especially the chicken flavor. Their fur is perfect with this food and it is also relatively economical.

It can only be used for female cats as a temporary solution, not for male cats. My male kittens really liked this food, but about a year later, both of them had crystals in their urinary bladder. They had to undergo treatment for several months, one cat had to be catheterized as it posed a serious threat to its life. Think twice before choosing Matisse for your neutered pets, especially males.

I bought it because I read in the reviews that it doesn't smell bad and indeed it doesn't smell. And my cats eat it with great pleasure.

I have a male cat that I neutered at 9 months old and from then until the age of 2.5, he was eating this food. It is of poor quality and does not prevent the predisposition that neutered cats have with their urinary system. It is better to choose a more expensive food than to have the poor thing urinating blood.

I have been using it for the past few months and I am very satisfied. What impressed me is that their bad smell is no longer as strong as before compared to other (similarly priced) foods.

I used to give my cat the gastrointestinal from Pharmena because he was vomiting with the food he was eating. The problem was immediately resolved and he liked it a lot. So I decided to try Matisse because I have a total of 6 cats at home and it is more economical than the Royal brand that I give them. Unfortunately, none of my 6 cats eat it. My opinion is to try small packages to see if they eat it and then buy a larger quantity.

They love it, as soon as the package arrives they just try to open it, like typical curious cats. They don't do this with other foods.

They are male, neutered, and "chubby" (7 kilos each).

It helps them with their urinary system, they are satisfied with a small amount of food, and they generally really like it. It has been very convenient for us and it is also economical.
