I bought them on sale for 87 euros since I wanted binoculars exclusively for bird watching in wetlands and open fields mainly. I had heard of the brand but had never had the chance to work with it in the field, and I was concerned about their quality. Nevertheless, I ordered them and I have to say the following:
1. The 10-year warranty they offer is quite important.
2. The case and how they are stored, as well as their peripheral accessories (straps, covers, etc.), are of good quality and gave me a good first impression.
3. Their construction is sturdy, waterproof, and they truly seem to be made with good quality. At first, I was worried about the gap they had on the bridge, but it turned out to be quite ergonomic.
4. As for the optical part, I tested them in both low and intense light, and I have to say they are extremely clear, with exceptional lenses, and maintain image quality excellently. The price-quality ratio is outstanding. They easily compete with many well-known brands (in the same price and quality range, of course) and rank high in my opinion.
Further testing will determine their durability and long-term quality in terms of optics. So far, 5 stars and I believe it will maintain its rating. I will try to upload digiscope photos as well as general photos of the packaging and the binoculars themselves.
**UPDATE:
Having had them for over a month and using them in wetlands as well as mountains, it's time for an update.
The binoculars are excellent and perform incredibly well throughout the day, with clear clarity in what I see through them and how I see it. The only weakness I note is some ghost flaring, mainly during midday hours and with harsh light, but it doesn't affect the experience much and the eye gets used to it and ignores it.
Another thing I noticed, and okay, it's not the most realistic scenario, is that if you have the sun against you during a harsh hour (always at noon), there is some chromatic aberration, but again, it doesn't affect what is visible. Other than that, it is an exceptional tool and performs excellently. It remains at 5 stars!
Τα πηρα σε προσφορά στα 87 ευρώ μιας και ήθελα κυάλια αποκλειστικά για παρατήρηση πτηνών σε υγροτόπους και ανοιχτά πεδία κυρίως. Τη μάρκα την είχα ακουστά αλλά δεν είχε τύχει να τη δουλέψω στο πεδίο ποτέ και με ανησυχούσε η ποιότητά τους, παρόλα ταύτα τα παρήγγειλα και έχω να πώ τα εξής:
1. Είναι αρκετά σημαντική η 10ετής εγγύηση που προσφέρει
2. Η θήκη και το πώς αποθηκεύονται, όπως και τα περιφερειακά αξεσουάρ του (λουράκια, καλύπτρες κλπ) είναι αρκετά ποιοτικά και ήταν η πρώτη καλή εντύπωση που μου έδωσε
3. Η κατασκευή τους είναι στιβαρή, αδιάβροχη και φαίνεται όντως ότι είναι κατασκευασμένα ποιοτικά. Στην αρχή με άγχωνε το κενό που είχανε στη γέφυρα αλλά αποδείχθηκε εργονομικό αρκετά
4. Ως προς το οπτικό κομμάτι, τα δοκίμασα και σε χαμηλό και σε έντονο φως και έχω να πω πως είναι υπερβολικά καθαρά, με εξαιρετικά κρύσταλλα και κρατάει τη ποιότητα της εικόνας άριστα. Η απόδοση τιμής - ποιότητας είναι εξαιρετική. Συναγωνίζεται άνετα πολλά επώνυμα (στο ίδιο εύρος τιμής και ποιότητας φυσικά) και κερδίζει υψηλή θέση στη κατάταξη κατ' εμέ.
Θα δοκιμαστούν περαιτέρω και θα δείξει σε βάθος χρόνου τόσο η αντοχή τους, όσο και η μακροχρόνια ποιότητά τους στα οπτικά. Ως στιγμής 5 αστέρια και πιστέυω θα κρατήσει τη βαθμολογία του. Θα προσπαθήσω να ανεβάσω και digiscope φωτογραφίες αλλά και γενικά φωτογραφίες απο τη συσκευασία και τα ίδια.
**UPDATE:
Έχοντας τα στη κατοχή μου πάνω απο ένα μήνα και αφού τα χρησιμοποιώ τόσο σε υγρτόπους όσο και σε βουνά ήρθε η ώρα για ένα update.
Τα κυάλια είναι άριστα και αποδίδουν τρομερά καθ' όλη τη διάρκεια της ημέρας με καθαρή ευκρίνεια στο τι βλέπω μέσα απο αυτά και στο πως το βλέπω. Η μόνη αδυναμία που σημειώνω για αυτά είναι ένα ghost flaring κυρίως τις μεσημβρινές ώρες και με πολύ σκληρό φώς, κάτι όμως που δεν επηρεάζει σχεδόν καθόλου και συνηθίζεται στο μάτι έπειτα και το αγνοεί.
Άλλο ένα που παρατήρησα και εντάξει δεν είναι και το πιο ρεαλιστικό σενάριο, είναι πως αν έχεις κόντρα τον ήλιο σε σκληρή ώρα (μεσημέρι πάντα) παρατηρείται ένα chromatic aberration δίχως επίσης να επηρεάζει αυτό που φαίνεται. Κατα τ' άλλα, εξαιρετικό εργαλείο και αποδίδει άριστα. Παραμένει στα 5 αστέρια!
