This monograph consists of two parts. The first part contains supervisions, both individual and group, in which psychoanalysts, psychiatrists, and psychologists participated, mainly residents of Athens but also from other regions of Greece. The group supervision recorded here is one of the many I directed in the Psychiatry department of the University of Athens, where I taught for several years, during which Mr. Kostas N. Stefanis held the position of professor of Psychiatry.

The second part consists of cases of children, adolescents, and adults, which I mainly selected from my private practice and from the Agia Sofia Children's Hospital, when Mr. Nikolaos Matsaniotis was the professor of Pediatrics. The criterion for selecting the cases is that their dominant theme is violence and its derivatives, as well as the cases under supervision.
