I use it for amateur purposes but it is a serious tool, you could even say it is suitable for semi-professional use!! It makes a slight noise but not continuously, only when it is plugged in without turning on the soldering iron or heat gun switches. It has many temperature settings for both, plus for the heat gun you can adjust the air supply, and when you place it on the stand it has a magnet that automatically switches it off!!! I highly recommend it to anyone involved with electronics, as it combines both tools you need for repairs and component replacements on circuit boards!!!!

It feels cheap in your hands, but it works just fine. The black knob adjusts the fan speed, and the buttons adjust the temperature. I have no way to measure the exact final temperature of the air, but the display on the device shows that the range is 100 to 500 °C, and its very granular. This means that you can adjust the temperature in increments of 1 "for example: 101, 102... etc" and you can press and hold the buttons to rapidly increase/decrease the temps. What I also like is that it has a sensor that activates the wand when you pick it up, and deactivates it when you put it back on the side holder. It comes with 3 cylindrical tips.

for its price it is very good, the noise that people mention is true but it is very quiet and can only be heard in absolute silence.

It does its job just fine, however after a few hours of use its power supply started to buzz. OK, good for occasional use, lightweight and easily portable, I wouldn't recommend it for professional use. It's a very good idea to unplug it from the power when not in use.

For amateur use, it is VFM. I use it for soldering on chips and it hasn't disappointed me. The only thing that requires attention sometimes is that it has an automatic shut-off when you place the gun in its base... it doesn't turn off.

Excellent not only for its price but also generally as a tool. Indeed, what many mention is true to some extent, and even when closed, it emits a slight hum, so I plugged it into a power strip with a switch and turn it off from there. It has been incredibly convenient for me. It heats up very quickly and its construction is very good.

Well, for the money it's simply value for money. Obviously at this price it's honest. The buttons may look like a game, but they have good responsiveness and the quality is not so bad. It's for amateurs and professionals for small chips of course and not only depending. The sound they mention is not so true, so don't be scared, it's barely audible, you have to be picky to hear it or put it on your device. Unless it's just me. The tip of the soldering iron is quite thin but there are others in the market. For me, being on the market for so many years says something. In conclusion, it had quick responsiveness and nothing was missing from the packaging. It stands honestly against machines double the price!!! Highly recommended.

Awesome station!! Its heating is within 10-30 seconds to reach 480 degrees.. Spare parts everywhere in the market tips with internal diameter up to 4.5 mm. The only downside is the noise it makes with the transformer even when you have the front switches closed, which is solved by placing a general switch on the back if you are knowledgeable. (as shown in the photo). Perfect for amateur and professional use.

The soldering iron is very good, as well as the hot air gun. It heats up to 350 degrees in 20-30 seconds. The only negative thing about it is that you can constantly hear the sound of its transformer (buzzing), even when it is closed. If you have it next to you, it becomes annoying and the only solution is to unplug it every time.

A very good tool for both amateur and professional use. Heats up quickly, the airflow is more than satisfactory, and it has an automatic standby if you leave it on its base. It is the best choice on the market for value for money.

It is my first one that I am getting, as an amateur I wanted such a machine either for small-scale projects or for repairs on consoles and HDMI ports, it heats up quickly, it has a standby mode if placed on its base, and it has good airflow with the tips it has depending on what you want to work on. A good and useful machine in my opinion, I just wish the cable for the gun was a liiiittle longer.

The product overall, for amateur use, is something perfect. This is because it is easy to use and has some features that help prevent unintentional misuse (automatic shut-off when placing the gun on the base). What I would like it to do better is to be easier to use when it comes to larger chips (such as desktops). Other than that, I highly recommend it for something simple.

For its price and the use I make of it, it is fair. The only negative is that one of the two screws on the side for attaching the base wouldn't unscrew, it kept rotating and it took me a bit of effort to fix it (maybe it was just my luck). Also, the transformer makes a bit of noise, but overall it's okay.

At least honest. I will agree with other comments about the plastic buttons, but the point is that it does the job well. Minimal heating time and I was impressed by the fact that the station goes into "standby" mode when the soldering iron is placed on its base. It cools down gradually and below 100 degrees it turns off and the fan stops until you lift it up from the base. Easily recommended.

Good value for money. I can say it is more powerful than more expensive branded machines in the same category, of course. It is mainly used for soldering SMD boards of mobile phones and laptops. It easily desolders components with a great grounding underneath.

Very good value for money. You pay about €50 and you get €50 worth. Heats up incredibly fast, which is logical, and has a fairly good air adjustment, although I would like a little more in some "difficult" cases. This means that it is not for anything more than hobbyist or amateur use. Its construction is okay. Up to there. It has a metal chassis, but the switch and buttons for temperature adjustment are like toys. Obviously, they are for small detachments, mobiles, tablets, etc. Definitely not for large integrated circuits, even though it has "tips" of various diameters. I only recommend it for someone who wants to use it lightly, or for practice on very small integrated circuits for someone who is just starting out. All the stars are there only considering its price.

Resolder normally. Reflow and whatever else you want. I don't understand why some people say you can't ask for much from it. Personally, I am very satisfied, of course I don't have it for professional use, but for personal use.

YIHUA and my soldering iron (936) but also the hot air station (858D). Although very economical, they work perfectly compared to many other soldering irons I have tried and are simply a waste of money.

Cheap but does the job. I don't know how long it will last or if it will break, but for occasional use, it's value for money.

I believe that for its price, it is the best. I have had it for about 2-3 months and so far it has not presented any problems. Also, I should mention that for someone who intends to use it heavily, it would be preferable to purchase the Atten 858D (100+ euros). I, on the other hand, do not use it for any particularly heavy use, and the main reason I bought it was mainly for shrink tubing and occasional soldering - nothing more than that. I give it 4 stars and not 5 solely because of the build quality (again, for its price, it is fine!), as the buttons, for example, seem a bit "fake" to say the least...

After 7 years, it made a grand entrance and went in the trash. I had changed the heating element in the hot air once, the soldering iron was useless from the first month, but I didn't care much because I had the HAKKO 888D.

It impresses me that this particular one has reached up to 140 euros.

There are other higher quality machines for that price.

The first time I bought it, it was 70 euros in 2016 and it arrived DOA. There was no other available, so I got my money back. Then I found it on sale for 47.5 euros, I used it occasionally, and for the money I paid back then, it was worth it. But as I said before, for someone to spend 140 euros on this machine... It's not worth it.
