The VARISAN A.T.E. anti-thrombosis socks for the prevention and protection against deep vein thrombosis and pulmonary embolism. The series is ideal for bedridden or post-operative patients as well as for patients for whom similar medication is contraindicated. The series is suitable and safe for use during sleep.

The anti-thrombosis series offers 18mm Hg compression and is specially designed for the prevention of thrombosis, while it cannot be used for the treatment of any venous pathology.

The series should be used for as long as the patient remains bedridden or for as long as the attending physician deems necessary after surgery. With a weave that offers excellent air permeability to ensure a healthy environment for the foot. Available in 5 sizes, white color. The toe area has a special inspection hole. It is made from Lycra & Polyamide yarns certified for their suitability by OEKO-TEX.

The result is socks with the right elasticity, soft on the skin, and with proper air permeability. The yarns are also antibacterial while the silicone, where used, is specially hypoallergenic. The product is latex-free. Composition: lycra (special weight 240 DEN) 18%, Polyamide 82%. The anti-thrombosis socks can be washed in water temperatures up to 90°C.
