MIELE extractor hood, the shortest joke. Let me explain why: I bought the Miele DA 3466 model in January 2022 at a price of €564. In December 2024, while it was off, a terrifying "bang" was heard from the extractor hood. The panel's relay tripped and there was a burnt smell. I freaked out. I immediately called MIELE to send me a technician. They informed me, of course, that it ONLY had a 2-year warranty but I thought of fixing it if the damage wasn’t too big. I was out of the house when the MIELE technician came, so a family member let him in and we spoke on the phone. He was extremely rude and provocative the entire time he was in the house. When I asked him how something that wasn’t working could burn out, I told him that only the extractor hood’s light was on, and his answer was, "So what, did you think the extractor hood was just a lamp?" As if the shock from the near explosion wasn’t enough, I had to deal with his sarcasm too. Then, after checking to find the fault, he proceeded to change the motor without informing me of the repair cost, called me and said, "The motor burned out and I changed it, you owe €280." Of course, I made him remove it again and asked him to leave the house immediately. After I threw the extractor hood in the trash (which, to be honest, wasn’t worth the money in terms of noise and suction even when it worked), I bought a TESLA for €70 which does the job just fine and also has a 5-year warranty.
