I was amazed; having a more overdrive pedal (Fender Pugilist), I also wanted a wilder, more aggressive metal one, and I found it—it's awesome! Scoop and Fat mode (Raw doesn't do it for me, it's a matter of taste) are amazing, I will experiment with it together with the Fender pedal to see if something interesting comes out.

One of the best purchases for high gain. With an internal battery, you can be sure it won't make any noise. With proper application, meaning adjusting the decibels for unity, it becomes the perfect pedal for rhythm or solo boosts. With the mid-range adjustment, it also becomes the perfect pedal for parallel signal in a pedalboard, as it removes the mid frequencies, creating the perfect chorus effect.

It is almost ridiculous how good it is for its price! The scoop mode is ideal for rhythm, for those looking for classic and modern American distortion at the same time. Personally, I found the fat mode to work exceptionally well for lead playing. The raw mode is...raw! Surely some will find it more useful than me. Overall, it provides a clean and well-defined low end, especially when combined with a tube screamer type overdrive as a boost, it really bites on the lows. Just to add to what the friend below said, it also takes a battery, you just have to unscrew the backplate. In summary, I highly recommend it for anyone looking for a modern metal sound, plus it is quite versatile through the Gain and Volume knobs to achieve different tones.

A wonderful metal brick, it is by far the best distortion pedal at this price. It has 3 mods: Raw, Fat, Scoop, 4 knobs: Gain, Volume, Bass, Tremble, and it chugs tremendously.

Because it is not visible in the photos, it has input, output, and 9v power supply input. It does not take batteries and you will need to purchase a charger (I mention this for those who are new to the genre).

Many good settings for the price, which provide you with different sounds. Very good. You can choose from a heavy and deep distortion to a very open one.
