The Varisan Top thigh-high stockings provide graduated compression of 34–46 mmHg, with open toes and a silicone band. Compression is distributed from the ankle up to the thigh: 100% at the ankle, 70% at the calf and 40% at the thigh. They are indicated for valvular insufficiency of the deep veins, venous leg ulcers, stage III lymphedema and post-thrombotic syndrome with acute skin intolerance.
They are made from 35% Lycra and 65% polyamide, with yarns reported to be OEKO-TEX certified and antibacterial. The silicone is hypoallergenic. To select the correct size, measurements are required at the ankle, calf and thigh, as well as the length from the heel to the upper thigh. Hand washing with mild soap is recommended. Dry away from sunlight and heat sources.
