    The solution for batteries. 1) We take an old mobile phone charger (5v) 2) We cut the plug that goes into the phone 3) We separate the two wires - strip them and find the (+) and the (-) 4) We go to the M.S. (in the battery holder) and solder or wrap the wires to the contacts (springs) of the battery positions at (+) and (-) and finally the batteries. Tested for 4 years .

    The station is good, accurate measurements, but it drains the batteries immediately. Whatever branded alkaline batteries you put in, it drains them in a very short time.

    I have had it for almost a year and it is very good in its measurements. The screen is quite good and very bright when it turns on. Sometimes it cycles through the channels by itself and you either have to turn it manually or wait for it to return on its own after a few minutes. The main negative is the batteries of the indoor unit, which drain like water. The outdoor one never asked for any. I tried both branded and unbranded batteries with minimal difference in durability.

    When it works, it’s fine, but the batteries need to be changed every month, and I’m talking about Energizer, not cheap batteries.
    Also, very often it freezes and doesn’t read the outside temperature, and the buttons get stuck too, while as soon as I take the batteries out and put them back in, it works properly immediately.
    I do NOT recommend it!
