Hartmann Grassolind Neutral adhesive dressings are sterile dressings made from loosely woven cotton fabric, impregnated with a neutral ointment containing no active ingredients. They are permeable to air and wound exudate, while the ointment remains on the dressing even with heavy exudation. They can be easily cut to the desired size.
They are used to cover wounds such as abrasions, cuts and burns, and in plastic and cosmetic surgery, nail removal and circumcision procedures. They are also suitable for maintaining the elasticity of the wound surface and edges, covering donor and recipient sites in skin grafting, securing split-thickness skin grafts, and for patients with sensitive skin or sensitivity to medications. The ointment contains white petrolatum, diglyceride esters of monocarboxylic and dicarboxylic fatty acids, and synthetic wax.
