The Wizard of Oz was written by American L. Frank Baum and first published in 1901. Baum went on to write thirteen more novels set in the land of Oz, but The Wizard of Oz remains his most well-known work and has been adapted many times for the big screen or stage.
In this story, Dorothy and her little dog are swept away by a cyclone to the land of Oz. There, they will meet the Scarecrow, the Tin Woodman, and the Cowardly Lion, who will accompany them on their journey to the Emerald City. There, young Dorothy hopes to meet the only person who can help her return home − the Wizard of Oz!
Will she manage to find him? And if so, will he be willing to help her?
A wonderful, magical story that reminds us of the importance of friends, home, and family.
