Description

Adco Class I 03160 lymphedema sock for compression of the upper limbs. It is intended for compression of the upper limbs, mainly for the treatment of venous or lymphatic system disorders.

Suitable for:
  • Venous diseases:
    • Phlebitis / initial stages after phlebitis treatment
    • Improving quality of life in cases of chronic venous diseases
    • Prevention and treatment of venous edema
    • Prevention of venous skin lesions
    • Functional venous insufficiency (in obesity, sedentary jobs, and occupations with standing)
    • Dermal liposclerosis and white atrophy
  • Thromboembolic diseases:
    • Superficial venous thrombosis
    • Deep venous thrombosis of the leg
    • Condition after thrombosis
    • Post-thrombotic syndrome
    • Prevention of thrombosis in patients with mobility
  • Edemas:
    • Lymphedemas
    • Edema during pregnancy
    • Post-traumatic edemas
    • Post-operative edemas
    • Edemas due to the specific occupation (occupations with standing, sedentary occupations)
    • Edemas due to medication, if change is not possible
Contraindications:
  • Advanced stage peripheral obstructive arterial disease
  • Septic phlebitis
  • Cyanotic painful inflammation
  • Congestive heart failure
Cleaning recommendations:
  • Wash your compression sock daily after use.
  • The sock should be hand washed preferably with detergent for delicate fabrics.
  • Do not wring it out, but gently press it between two dry towels to remove water.
  • Clean the silicone strip on the inside once a day with a damp cloth.
  • Do not expose it to direct heat/cooling.
  • Follow the instructions on the fabric label attached to your product.
  • With regular care, you ensure optimal effectiveness.

To choose the right size, measure the circumference of your elbow and wrist:

  • XSmall: elbow circumference 20 - 25cm, wrist circumference 13 - 15cm
  • Small: elbow circumference 23 - 28cm, wrist circumference 15 - 17cm
  • Medium: elbow circumference 26 - 31cm, wrist circumference 17 - 19cm
  • Large: elbow circumference 29 - 34cm, wrist circumference 19 - 21cm
  • XLarge: elbow circumference 32 - 37cm, wrist circumference 21 - 23cm
  • XXLarge: elbow circumference 35 - 40cm, wrist circumference 24 - 27cm
