I have had it for 3 days and I have seen a significant difference compared to a previous ZTE. Very easy installation, very good signal (it is full in rooms that needed an extender). The extender (d-link) connected easily with wps. I also had an issue with the on-demand feature of Nova and now it hardly ever freezes. And finally, with the extender, you had to make settings on the IP to connect, and now it connects without any problem. A very good purchase for its price.
Το έχω 3 μέρες και είδα απευθείας μεγάλη διαφορά σε σχέση με ένα ZTE που είχα πριν. Πολύ εύκολη εγκατάσταση, πολύ καλό σήμα (είναι φουλ σε δωμάτια που ήθελαν extender). To extender (d-link) συνδεθηκε εύκολα με wps. Επίσης είχα θέμα με το on demand της nova και τώρα δεν κολλάει σχεδόν ποτέ. Και τέλος στο extender ήθελε να κάνεις ρυθμίσεις στο ip για να συνδεθεις και τώρα συνδέεται χωρίς κανένα πρόβλημα. Πολύ καλή αγορά για την τιμή του.
A cheap modem router with rich features. It replaces the ZTE modem from Vodafone. It connects at the same speeds, but Netflix loads high quality immediately instead of taking 5-10 seconds to reach 1080 quality.

EDIT: The Wi-Fi coverage is lower compared to the old router, also if I have 2 Wi-Fi lines on my mobile, it doesn't work... I switch to data.

Ένα φτηνό modem router με πλούσιες δυνατότητες. Αντικατεστησε το modem ZTE της Vodafone. Συνδέεται στις ίδιες ταχύτητες αλλά το Netflix φορτώνει αμέσως υψηλή ποιότητα και όχι να χρειάζεται 5-10 δευτερόλεπτα για να πιάσει το 1080 ποιότητα.
Ελπίζω να κρατήσει...
EDIT: Το wifi σαν κάλυψη είναι πιο πεσμένο σε σχέση με το παλιό router, επίσης αν έχω 2 γραμμές wifi στο κινητό δε γίνεται δουλειά...το γυρίζω σε δεδομένα.

Overall stable and fast. At first, it was a bit challenging because it didn't work well with my computer, but after a few months, I haven't had any issues (probably my laptop needed an upgrade).

Δεν περίμενα βελτίωση γιατί όσοι τεχνικοί πέρασαν δεν έβρισκαν κάποιο πρόβλημα, κι όμως με έσωσε, το συστήνω σε όποιον έχει προβλήματα με την γραμμή του.
I have the version 4 here for 6 months now. It replaced the unacceptable one from nova for its ADSL connections, which lasted for a year. When it breaks, I will come back. For now, no problems in terms of speed and stability, at least in my limited connection. It did not have any overheating issues, also, with the room where it is located being very hot in the summer and without air conditioning. I do not notice any speed loss in Wi-Fi, and the range is decent. The following negatives were identified:
- The menu is slightly problematic in some areas, as if it was designed for older versions and does not include everything as it should. The problem I encountered was that it comes with NAT boost enabled (for higher speeds in very fast connections), but I cannot find the option to disable or enable it anywhere. However, I needed to disable it because NAT boost does not allow manual port forwarding selection (which appears in the menu as virtual servers, so you are not sure if you found it), leaving the option of opening and closing ports only through UPnP. So, the menu allows you to select the manual ports setting, but it does not inform you that it will not work because it is incompatible with NAT boost. Therefore, after a lot of head scratching to figure out what I did wrong and why the ports I defined were not opening, I found out that when you try to enable Dos Protection, then and only then the menu informs you that there is also an incompatibility with NAT boost and asks if you want to close it. And as I said initially, it does not close in any other way. Wanting to have the ability to open/close it in the future without resetting the factory settings, I made two backup configurations, one with NAT boost enabled and one with it disabled - after I closed it with the above stupid method. After this foolishness, everything is fine, for me and the settings I needed to make at least.
- The USB port is for a SIM card and not for file sharing. If you need the latter, look for version V3.
Otherwise, for its price, I consider it decent.
Έχω την έκδοση 4 εδώ και 6 μήνες. Αντικατέστησε το απαράδεκτο της nova για τις συνδέσεις ADSL της, το οποίο άντεξε ένα χρόνο. Αν/΄όταν χαλάσει, θα επανέλθ.ω Προς το παρόν, κανένα πρόβλημα από άποψη ταχύτητας και σταθερότητας, στην περιορισμένων δυνατοτήτων σύνδεσή μου τουλάχιστο. Προβλήματα λόγω υπερθέρμανσης δεν είχε, επίσης, με το δωμάτιο όπου βρίσκεται να είναι πολύ ζεστό το καλοκαίρι και χωρίς κλιματισμό. Στο Wi-Fi δεν παρατηρώ κάποια απώλεια ταχύτητας, ενώ και η εμβέλεια είναι καλούτσικη. Στα αρνητικά του εντόπισα τα εξής:
- Το μενού του δείχνει ελαφρά προβληματικό σε κάποια σημεία, σα να σχεδιάστηκε για παλιότερες εκδόσεις και δεν περιλαμβάνει τα πάντα όπως πρέπει. Το πρόβλημα που συνάντησα ήταν ότι έρχεται με το NAT boost ενεργοποιημένο (για υψηλότερες ταχύτητες σε πολύ γρήγορες συνδέσεις), αλλά δε βρίσκω πουθενά την επιλογή απενεργοποίησης ή επανενεργοποίησής του. Χρειαζόταν ωστόσο να το απενεργοποιήσω, γιατί το NAT boost δεν επιτρέπει να επιλέξεις manual port forwarding (το οποίο εμφανίζεται στο μενού με τον όρο virtual servers, έτσι, για να μην είστε σίγουροι αν βρήκατε που είναι), αφήνοντας την επιλογή ανοιγοκλεισίματος ports μόνο μέσω UPnP. Το μενού σε αφήνει λοιπόν να επιλέξεις τη ρύθμιση manual ports, αλλά δεν ενημερώνει ότι οι δε θα λειτουργήσει γιατί είναι ασύμβατο με το NAT boost. Οπότε, μετά από αρκετό σπάσιμο κεφαλιού για να βρω τι έκανα λάθος και δεν άνοιγαν τα ports που όριζα, διαπίστωσα ότι όταν προσπαθήσεις να ενεργοποιήσεις το Dos Protection, τότε και μόνο τότε το μενού σε πληροφορεί ότι υπάρχει κι εδώ ασυμβατότητα με το NAT boost και σε ρωτά αν θέλεις να κλείσει. Και όπως είπα αρχικά, δεν κλείνει με άλλον τρόπο. Θέλοντας να έχω τη δυνατότητα να το ανοίξω/κλείσω στο μέλλον χωρίς επαναφορά εργοστασιακών ρυθμίσεων, έκανα δύο backup ρυθμίσεων, μία με NAT boost ενεργό και μία με κλειστό - αφού το έκλεισα με την παραπάνω χαζή μέθοδο. Έπειτα από αυτή την αστειότητα, όλα εντάξει, για μένα και τις ρυθμίσεις που χρειάστηκα να κάνω τουλάχιστο.
- Η θύρα USB είναι για κάρτα SIM και όχι για διαμοιρασμό αρχείων. Αν χρειάζεστε το τελευταίο, αναζητήστε την έκδοση V3.
Κατά τ'άλλα για τα λεφτά του το θεωρώ αξιοπρεπές.
Very good router, superior quality compared to those offered by companies. HOWEVER, it is only a router. I do not recommend it for owners of cosmote modems.
Πολύ καλό ρούτερ, ανώτερη ποιότητα από αυτά που διαθέτουν οι εταιρείες. ΠΡΟΣΟΧΗ όμως είναι μόνο ρούτερ. Δεν το συνιστώ για κατόχους μόντεμ της cosmote.
There was an improvement compared to the ZTE H108N provided by Vodafone, but nothing special.
Slightly better Wi-Fi signal, no disconnections, and a speed increase of about 3 to 5%, I would say.
I chose version 3 because of the chipset (the one that has the USB port at the back), but the store sent me version 4 as software with the chassis of version 3.
The Tp-Link TD-W9970 v4 does not have the USB port. I don't know if it matters that it is the software from V4 and if it is worse than V3.
Be careful where you buy it from and only buy it if you have a very serious problem with your previous router.
I should add that it heats up quite a bit and I have done the following trick and it is always cool... see photos.
Υπήρξε μια βελτίωση σε σχέση με το ZTE H108N του παρόχου, Vodafone, αλλά όχι κάτι το ιδιαίτερο.
Ελαφρώς καλύτερο σήμα Wi-Fi, χωρίς αποσυνδέσεις και μια αύξηση της ταχύτητας της τάξης του 3 με 5% και πολύ λέω.
Επέλεξα την version 3 λόγω του chipset (αυτό που έχει και την θύρα usb πίσω), αλλά το κατάστημα μου έστειλε την version 4 σαν λογισμικό με το σασί της version 3.
Το Tp-Link TD-W9970 v4 δεν έχει την θύρα USB. Δεν ξέρω αν παίζει ρόλο ότι είναι το λογισμικό από V4 και αν είναι χειρότερο από V3.
Προσοχή από πού θα το αγοράσετε και αγοράστε το μόνο αν έχετε πολύ σοβαρό πρόβλημα με το προηγούμενο ρουτερ σας.
Να προσθέσω οτι ζεσταίνεται αρκετά και εχω κάνει την ακόλουθη πατέντα και ειναι πάντα δροσερό ...δειτε φωτογραφιες.

Recently I upgraded from 50mbps to 100mbps and they gave me the ZTE H288A. In the building's distributor, it brings 80mbps (the measurement was done by a technician and according to Nova, it is within the limits of 100mbps and for your information, when the download upload combination is 88mbps, it is within the limits and does not indicate a fault).
With the ZTE, the speeds were 74-75 and it never reached higher and the errors were 30000 in one day.
With the TPLINK, as soon as I installed it, it went straight to 80000 and it hasn't given me a single error in 2 working days.
I chose version 3 because of the Broadcom chipset, which works well with the provider's cabinets.
Very easy to install, for Nova users, you either put VLAN 835 or select VDSL Cosmote and enter your credentials.
I also put two small pieces of wood (from the Jenga game) to make it higher and ventilate better.
Two negative things I would say are that it is not compatible with the Tether application and that it does not have at least one 1000 LAN port.
I only use it as a modem since I have a router for the home network, so I can't give my opinion on the WiFi.
Finally, I would say that it is not suitable for VoIP and since all providers are heading towards that, it will be useless in the future. However, for now, since it is the cheapest VDSL modem, it is definitely worth it.
Το αγόρασα μετά από τις καλές κρητικές εδώ. Απλά μέρα με την νύχτα με τα μόντεμ των παρόχων.
Πρόσφατα ανέβηκα από τα 50mpbs στα 100mbps και μου δώσανε το zte h288a. Στον κατανεμητή της πολυκατοικίας φέρνει 80mpbs (η μέτρηση έγινε από τεχνικό και σύμφωνα με την nova είναι μέσα στα όρια των 100mbps και προς ενημέρωση σας όταν ο συνδυασμός download upload είναι 88mbps είναι μέσα στα όρια και δεν δηλώνετε βλάβη).
Με το zte οι ταχύτητες ήταν 74-75 και ποτέ δεν έφτασε παραπάνω και τα errors ήταν 30000 σε μια μέρα.
Με τον που έβαλα το TPLINK κατευθείαν 80000 και ούτε ένα error δεν μου έχει βγάλει μεσα σε 2 μέρες λειτουργίας.
Επέλεξα την version 3 λόγω του chipset που είναι broadcom και λειτουργεί καλά με τις καμπίνες των παρόχων.
Πανευκολο στην εγκατάσταση, για τους χρήστες nova βάζετε vlan 835 η επιλέγετε vdsl cosmote και βάζετε τους κωδικούς σας.
Έβαλα και δύο ξυλάκια (από το παιχνίδι jenga) για να είναι πιο ψηλά και να αερίζεται πιο καλά.
Δύο πράγματα αρνητικά θα έλεγα ότι δεν είναι συμβατό με την εφαρμογή Tether και ότι δεν έχει τουλάχιστον μία θύρα lan 1000.
Εγώ το χρησιμοποιώ μόνο σαν modem μιας και έχω router για το οικιακό δίκτυο οπότε δεν μπορώ να πω την γνώμη μου για το WiFi.
Τέλος να πω ότι δεν κάνει για voip και επειδή όλοι οι πάροχοι οδεύουν προς τα εκεί, στο μέλλον θα είναι άχρηστο. Προς το παρόν όμως μιας και είναι το πιο φτηνό vdsl modem αξίζει σίγουρα.
Take it with closed eyes! It's a treasure for its price. Good Internet and decent wifi. Pay attention to the connection, follow the automatic installation and be careful with the minimal options that we should set ourselves, e.g. FORTHNET_ADSL and Region Athens, etc.
Personally, I followed someone else's advice and put four "feet" to lift the modem/router a bit, so that there is better air circulation, resulting in it staying cool constantly. There are several instructions on the Internet, I advise you to watch one or two videos before connecting it, in order to configure it correctly from the beginning, in terms of security.
Πάρτε το με κλειστά μάτια! Για τα λεφτά του είναι θησαυρός. Καλό Ίντερνετ και αρκετά καλό wifi.Προσοχή στη σύνδεση, ακολουθάμε την αυτόματη εγκατάσταση και προσέχουμε λίγο τις ελάχιστες επιλογές που θα πρέπει να βάλουμε μόνοι μας, π.χ. FORTHNET_ADSL και Region Athens κλπ.
Προσωπικά ακολούθησα τι συμβουλή κάποιου άλλου και έβαλα τέσσερα ¨τακάκια¨ για να σηκώσω λίγο το modem/router, ώστε να γίνετε καλύτερη κυκλοφορία αέρος, με αποτέλεσμα να μένει κρύο συνεχώς. Υπάρχουν αρκετές οδηγίες στο Ίντερνετ, σας συμβουλεύω να δείτε ένα-δύο βίντεο πριν το συνδέσετε, για να το παραμετροποιήσετε σωστά από την αρχή, σε θέματα ασφάλειας.

Τα 2 παιδιά μου σε πρωινά μαθήματα μέσω ίντερνετ που πριν την αγορά του μου έκαναν συνεχως παράπονα για διακοπές και αστάθεια ,μετα την εγκατάσταση του δεν ξανά παραπονέθηκαν. Όσο αφορά την εμβέλεια δεν είδα διάφορα σχετικά με το ρούτερ του παρόχου.

I didn't expect such improvement, I highly recommend it!

Είχα πάρα πολλά προβλήματα με πτώσεις της ταχύτητας και συνεχείς αποσυνδεσεις με το μόντεμ του παρόχου.
Το έχω δέκα μέρες περίπου και απο 3-5 αποσυνδεσεις την ημέρα και ταχύτητες για γερα νεύρα, τώρα έχει αποσυνδεθεί μια φορά μόνο οσο το έχω και κρατάει σταθερά την ταχύτητα σε πολύ ικανοποιητικά επίπεδα για την περιοχή μου και την απόσταση μου απ το καφαο...
Δεν περίμενα τέτοια βελτίωση, το συστήνω ανεπιφύλακτα!
The most economical solution for VDSL2, replaced the ZTE 168 of forthnet.
It does its job perfectly with high speeds and no disconnections in an 80sqm house without any wifi issues.
Easy menu with plenty of options although I think you don't need to change much.
Pay attention during setup, it doesn't have auto detect for the network, choose Greece and then your provider (ISP). If you have forthnet VDSL2 as your ISP, choose other and enter 835 for the VLAN ID and everything will be OK.

Κάνει άψογα τη δουλεία του με υψηλές ταχύτητες και χωρίς αποσυνδέσεις σε σπίτι 80τμ χωρίς κανένα θέμα με το wifi.
Εύκολο menu με πάρα πολλές επιλογές αν και νομίζω ότι δεν χρειάζεται να πειράξετε και πολλά.
Προσοχή κατά το setup, δεν έχει auto detect του δυκτίου, επιλέγετε Ελλάδα και μετά τον πάροχό σας (ISP). Αν έχετε forthnet VDSL2 στο ISP επιλέξτε other και στο VLAN ID βάλτε 835 και όλα ΟΚ.
The little modem is a star. Compared to my provider on a 50mbps line, it locked at 54998 and upload 5490. It runs at a pure 51mbps due to the splitter.
Very high-quality construction and the lights didn't blink even once. Very honest for its price. I turned off the wifi and connected it to a little router. The router on 5Ghz and at a distance of 6 meters with 3 walls gives me a speed of 52mbps. On 2.4 Ghz, 46mbps... I mention router speeds for the modem's performance.
For those who criticize it in the V2 version, they are wrong.
There are two things you need to know.
When you connect it to quick setup, you need to do auto detect of the network because if you do it manually, it will give you VLANID 1035 and even if you enter the provider's username and password correctly, it won't work.
For forthnet, it needs VLAN ID 835. And then everything works perfectly.

I bought it for someone else and ended up keeping it for myself.
As for temperatures, it is much cooler than the latest Forthnet ZTE H267N.
It has many holes-grills for heat dissipation.
The secret, if you want it to be completely cool, is to put two wooden blocks on the right and left side underneath so that the heat escapes DIRECTLY without getting heated from continuous use from underneath. Alternatively, as I did, you can use 4 cut N10 cups at 0.8 centimeters and glue them with hot glue in the 4 corners from underneath. And if you want to remove them later, they come off from the plastic without any damage or harm.
As for the wifi, with 3 walls in between, it gives me a speed of 22mbps.
The 2 antennas of 4 dbi ensure quality and power compared to the providers' rubbish.
As soon as I got it, I manually upgraded the firmware because it doesn't do it automatically.
Pay attention to the version... it is TD W9970 V3. You can download it from TPLINK and it is a critical upgrade.
There was an issue with hacking CWMP and TPLINK fixed it immediately.

Το modem-άκι είναι αστέρι. Σε σχέση με του παρόχου μου σε γραμμη 50mbps forthnet κλείδωσε στα 54998 και upload 5490. Εννοείται οτι τρέχει στα 51mbps καθαρά λόγω κόφτη.
Πολύ ποιοτική κατασκευή και οι λυχνίες δεν αναβόσβησαν ούτε για πλάκα μία φορά. Πολύ τίμιο για τα χρήματά του. Έκλεισα το wifi και το έχω συνδεδεμένο με router-άκι. To ρουτεράκι σε 5Ghz και απόσταση 6 μέτρα με 3 τοίχους μου δίνει ταχύτητα 52mbps. Σε 2,4 Ghz 46mbps...αναφέρω ταχύτητες απο το ρούτερ για το θέμα απόδοσης απο το modem.
Για όσους το κράζουν στην έκδοση V2 δεν έχουν δίκιο.
Θέλει 2 πραγματάκια να γνωρίζεις.
Όταν το συνδέεις στο quick setup πρέπει να κάνετε auto detect του δικτύου, επειδή manual σας βγάζει VLANID 1035 και ακόμη και το usename και password του παρόχου να βάλετε σωστά ΔΕΝ θα δουλέψει.
Στο VLAN ID για forthnet θέλει 835. Και μετά όλα δουλέυουν ΡΟΛΟΙ.
ΤΕΡΜΑ παραμετροποιησιμο, απίστευτη ασφάλεια και ρυθμίσεις. Πληθώρα ρυθμίσεων που χάνεσαι.
Πολύ καθαρό User Interface και όλα μπροστά σας.
Το πήρα για άλλον και έμεινε σε μένα.
Όσο δέ για θερμοκρασίες, πολύ πιο δροσερό του τελευταίου της Forthnet zte ΖΧΝ Η267Ν.
Έχει πολλές οπές-γρίλιες για απαγωγή της θερμοκρασίας.
Το μυστικό ΑΝ θέλετε να είναι τέρμα δροσερό, είναι να βάλετε δύο ξύλινα τακάκια δεξιά και αριστερά απο κάτω ώστε η θερμότητα να διαφέυγει ΑΜΕΣΑ χωρίς να ζεσταίνεται απο την αδιάκοπη χρήση απο κάτω ή εναλλακτικά όπως το έκανα εγώ, 4 κομμένες Ν10 ούπες στα 0,8 του εκατοστού, και κολλημένες με θερμόκολλα στις 4 γωνίες απο κάτω. Και να θέλετε να τις ξεκολλήσετε μετά, σε κλάσματα ξεκολλάνε απο το πλαστικό δίχως καμία ζημιά ή βλάβη.
Όσο για το wifi, με 3 τοίχους ανάμεσα μου δίνει 22mbps ταχύτητα.

Με το που το πήρα έκανα manual upgrade firmware επειδή στο αυτόματο δεν τη βγάζει.
Προσοχή στη version...είναι TD W9970 V3. Την κατεβάζετε απο την TPLINK και είναι κρίσιμη αναβάθμιση.
Υπήρχε θέμα hacking CWMP ΚΑΙ η TPLINK το έκλεισε άμεσα.
Θα πάρω άμεσα και 2ο για εκείνον που του το "έκλεψα".
I haven't dealt with a worse router than this one. I had one that was given to me by Forthnet when I made the connection and I had no problems. Since I replaced it, I have been frustrated, especially with the mobile phone that needs to be literally stuck to the router to have a signal. Far away. And with cheaper ones, I believe you will do a much better job.
Δεν έχω συμβιώσει με χειρότερο router από το συγκεκριμένο. Είχα ένα που μου είχε δώσει η Forthnet όταν είχα κάνει τη σύνδεση και δεν είχα κανένα πρόβλημα. Από τότε που το αντικατέστησα έχω απηυδήσει ιδίως με το κινητό που πρέπει να είναι κολλημένο (κυριολεκτικά) πάνω στο router για να έχει σήμα. Μακρυά. Και με πιο φθηνά θεωρώ ότι θα κάνετε πολύ καλύτερη δουλειά.
Kelepouri after seven months of continuous operation does not present any problem no matter how many devices are connected to it. Definitely a value for money product and whoever manages to get it, should. Easy installation, trouble-free operation, set it up once and forget about it.... get it without a second thought!!!
Κελεπουρι μετά από επτά μήνες συνεχούς λειτουργίας δεν παρουσιάζει κανένα πρόβλημα όσες συσκευές και αν συνδεθούν πάνω του . Σίγουρα vfm προϊόν και όποιος προλάβει να το πάρει. Πανευκολη εγκατάσταση απροβληματιστη λειτουργεία το σεταρεις μια φορά και το ξεχνάς .... πάρτε το χωρίς δεύτερη σκέψη!!!
When wireless devices (e.g. mobile phones) connect, after a while the router freezes... I couldn't figure it out and eventually I only use it for the local wired Ethernet network...
Οταν συνδεονται ασυρματες συσκευες (πχ κινητα) μετα απο λιγο το router κολλαει....δεν εβγαζα ακρη και τελικα το χρησιμοποιω μονο για το τοπικο ενσυρματο δικτυο ethernet ...
Very good router for the very bad internet of Greece, at least it has very good wifi for local FTP.

The router is stable to the point of nausea, open for 30 days without a restart, not a single error on the VDSL line 50 from the cabinet. You all talk about the wifi, well I'll inform you that I'm on the second floor, I go downstairs, go outside, and I have 3 bars on my mobile, and the router at home is deep inside with 2 walls in front of it. And with 10 devices connected to it only through WiFi. It simply does the job perfectly, I can finally relax.
Το ρουτερ είναι κορυφή σταθερότητα μέχρι αηδίας 30 μέρες ανοικτο χωρίς επανεκκίνηση δεν υπάρχει ούτε ένα error στην γραμμή vdsl 50 από καμπίνα. Όλοι λέτε για το wifi εεε σας πληροφορώ είμαι στο 2 όροφο κατεβαίνω βγαίνω έξω και έχω 3 σήμα στο κινητό μου και το ρουτερ στο σπίτι είναι πολύ μέσα με 2 τοίχους μπροστά του. The modem is a star. Its lights don't even blink. There is no better value for money. This should normally cost much more. Buy it with your eyes closed.

You will need to perform frequent restarts by returning it to its factory state because it often loses its settings and becomes uncoordinated.

Crap. Unstable wifi on a free channel without interference, it only reached 43mbps once while it usually hovers around 15mbps. It often freezes and even with a cable, it achieves low speeds, but it goes back to full speed after a restart, which lasts for about 2 days before dropping again. Obviously, I ordered another one and I will give this one away to some poor soul since it's not even worth selling for 10 euros.
Μάπα. Ασταθές wifi σε ελέυθερο κανάλι χωρίς παρεμβολές, μια φορά μονο μου έπιασε 43mbps ενώ συνήθως παίζει γυρο στο 15mbps. Συχνά κολλάει και ακόμα και με καλώδιο πιάνει χαμηλες ταχύτητες, ενω με restart ξαναπιάνει full speed οπου κρατάει κανα 2 μέρες πριν πέσει πάλι. Εννοείται παρηγγειλα άλλο κι αυτό θα το χαρίσω σε κανεναν κακομοιρη καθώ δεν αξίζει ούτε 10 ευρώ να το πουλήσω.

I have returned it twice (receiving the first replacement) with the exact same problem, it freezes and you have to turn off the Wi-Fi to unfreeze it. It is simply unacceptable!!!!!

Excellent product for the money it asks for in adsl line and then in vdsl line it increases the speed by 3 mbps from the stock routers (ote, zte, forthnet, etc.). Simply excellent, I highly recommend it

I had to do some configuration via the web as an administrator, but otherwise everything went well. It's already been a month and it works consistently well.
Χρειάστηκε να κάνω κάποιο configuration μέσω web ως administrator, αλλά κατά τ'αλλα όλα πήγαν καλά. Ήδη κλείνει μήνα και δουλεύει σταθερά καλά.
Overall stable and fast. At first, it was a bit challenging because it didn't work well with my computer, but after a few months, I haven't had any issues (probably my laptop needed an upgrade).

I have the version 4 here for 6 months now. It replaced the unacceptable one from nova for its ADSL connections, which lasted for a year. When it breaks, I will come back. For now, no problems in terms of speed and stability, at least in my limited connection. It did not have any overheating issues, also, with the room where it is located being very hot in the summer and without air conditioning. I do not notice any speed loss in Wi-Fi, and the range is decent. The following negatives were identified:
- The menu is slightly problematic in some areas, as if it was designed for older versions and does not include everything as it should. The problem I encountered was that it comes with NAT boost enabled (for higher speeds in very fast connections), but I cannot find the option to disable or enable it anywhere. However, I needed to disable it because NAT boost does not allow manual port forwarding selection (which appears in the menu as virtual servers, so you are not sure if you found it), leaving the option of opening and closing ports only through UPnP. So, the menu allows you to select the manual ports setting, but it does not inform you that it will not work because it is incompatible with NAT boost. Therefore, after a lot of head scratching to figure out what I did wrong and why the ports I defined were not opening, I found out that when you try to enable Dos Protection, then and only then the menu informs you that there is also an incompatibility with NAT boost and asks if you want to close it. And as I said initially, it does not close in any other way. Wanting to have the ability to open/close it in the future without resetting the factory settings, I made two backup configurations, one with NAT boost enabled and one with it disabled - after I closed it with the above stupid method. After this foolishness, everything is fine, for me and the settings I needed to make at least.
- The USB port is for a SIM card and not for file sharing. If you need the latter, look for version V3.
Otherwise, for its price, I consider it decent.

Αν/΄όταν χαλάσει, θα επανέλθ.ω Προς το παρόν, κανένα πρόβλημα από άποψη ταχύτητας και σταθερότητας, στην περιορισμένων δυνατοτήτων σύνδεσή μου τουλάχιστο. Προβλήματα λόγω υπερθέρμανσης δεν είχε, επίσης, με το δωμάτιο όπου βρίσκεται να είναι πολύ ζεστό το καλοκαίρι και χωρίς κλιματισμό. Στο Wi-Fi δεν παρατηρώ κάποια απώλεια ταχύτητας, ενώ και η εμβέλεια είναι καλούτσικη. Στα αρνητικά του εντόπισα τα εξής:
- Το μενού του δείχνει ελαφρά προβληματικό σε κάποια σημεία, σα να σχεδιάστηκε για παλιότερες εκδόσεις και δεν περιλαμβάνει τα πάντα όπως πρέπει. Θέλοντας να έχω τη δυνατότητα να το ανοίξω/κλείσω στο μέλλον χωρίς επαναφορά εργοστασιακών ρυθμίσεων, έκανα δύο backup ρυθμίσεων, μία με NAT boost ενεργό και μία με κλειστό - αφού το έκλεισα με την παραπάνω χαζή μέθοδο. Έπειτα από αυτή την αστειότητα, όλα εντάξει, για μένα και τις ρυθμίσεις που χρειάστηκα να κάνω τουλάχιστο.
- Η θύρα USB είναι για κάρτα SIM και όχι για διαμοιρασμό αρχείων. Αν χρειάζεστε το τελευταίο, αναζητήστε την έκδοση V3.
Κατά τ'άλλα για τα λεφτά του το θεωρώ αξιοπρεπές.
Very good router, superior quality compared to those offered by companies. HOWEVER, it is only a router. I do not recommend it for owners of cosmote modems.

I have had it for 3 days and I have seen a significant difference compared to a previous ZTE. Very easy installation, very good signal (it is full in rooms that needed an extender). The extender (d-link) connected easily with wps. I also had an issue with the on-demand feature of Nova and now it hardly ever freezes. And finally, with the extender, you had to make settings on the IP to connect, and now it connects without any problem. A very good purchase for its price.
Το έχω 3 μέρες και είδα απευθείας μεγάλη διαφορά σε σχέση με ένα ZTE που είχα πριν. Πολύ εύκολη εγκατάσταση, πολύ καλό σήμα (είναι φουλ σε δωμάτια που ήθελαν extender). To extender (d-link) συνδεθηκε εύκολα με wps. Επίσης είχα θέμα με το on demand της nova και τώρα δεν κολλάει σχεδόν ποτέ. Και τέλος στο extender ήθελε να κάνεις ρυθμίσεις στο ip για να συνδεθεις και τώρα συνδέεται χωρίς κανένα πρόβλημα. Πολύ καλή αγορά για την τιμή του.
A cheap modem router with rich features. It replaces the ZTE modem from Vodafone. It connects at the same speeds, but Netflix loads high quality immediately instead of taking 5-10 seconds to reach 1080 quality.
I hope it lasts...
EDIT: The Wi-Fi coverage is lower compared to the old router, also if I have 2 Wi-Fi lines on my mobile, it doesn't work... I switch to data.
EDIT AFTER MONTHS OF USE: The Wi-Fi is very problematic, don't get it unless you have a wired connection. The Wi-Fi constantly freezes and even the company itself doesn't know what to do.
Ένα φτηνό modem router με πλούσιες δυνατότητες. Αντικατεστησε το modem ZTE της Vodafone. Συνδέεται στις ίδιες ταχύτητες αλλά το Netflix φορτώνει αμέσως υψηλή ποιότητα και όχι να χρειάζεται 5-10 δευτερόλεπτα για να πιάσει το 1080 ποιότητα.
Ελπίζω να κρατήσει...
EDIT: Το wifi σαν κάλυψη είναι πιο πεσμένο σε σχέση με το παλιό router, επίσης αν έχω 2 γραμμές wifi στο κινητό δε γίνεται δουλειά...το γυρίζω σε δεδομένα.

Οπότε, μετά από αρκετό σπάσιμο κεφαλιού για να βρω τι έκανα λάθος και δεν άνοιγαν τα ports που όριζα, διαπίστωσα ότι όταν προσπαθήσεις να ενεργοποιήσεις το Dos Protection, τότε και μόνο τότε το μενού σε πληροφορεί ότι υπάρχει κι εδώ ασυμβατότητα με το NAT boost και σε ρωτά αν θέλεις να κλείσει. Και όπως είπα αρχικά, δεν κλείνει με άλλον τρόπο. Θέλοντας να έχω τη δυνατότητα να το ανοίξω/κλείσω στο μέλλον χωρίς επαναφορά εργοστασιακών ρυθμίσεων, έκανα δύο backup ρυθμίσεων, μία με NAT boost ενεργό και μία με κλειστό - αφού το έκλεισα με την παραπάνω χαζή μέθοδο. Έπειτα από αυτή την αστειότητα, όλα εντάξει, για μένα και τις ρυθμίσεις που χρειάστηκα να κάνω τουλάχιστο.
- Η θύρα USB είναι για κάρτα SIM και όχι για διαμοιρασμό αρχείων. Αν χρειάζεστε το τελευταίο, αναζητήστε την έκδοση V3.
Κατά τ'άλλα για τα λεφτά του το θεωρώ αξιοπρεπές.
Very good router, superior quality compared to those offered by companies. HOWEVER, it is only a router. I do not recommend it for owners of cosmote modems.
Πολύ καλό ρούτερ, ανώτερη ποιότητα από αυτά που διαθέτουν οι εταιρείες. ΠΡΟΣΟΧΗ όμως είναι μόνο ρούτερ. Δεν το συνιστώ για κατόχους μόντεμ της cosmote.
There was an improvement compared to the ZTE H108N provided by Vodafone, but nothing special.
Slightly better Wi-Fi signal, no disconnections, and a speed increase of about 3 to 5%, I would say.
I chose version 3 because of the chipset (the one that has the USB port at the back), but the store sent me version 4 as software with the chassis of version 3.
The Tp-Link TD-W9970 v4 does not have the USB port. I don't know if it matters that it is the software from V4 and if it is worse than V3.
Be careful where you buy it from and only buy it if you have a very serious problem with your previous router.

Υπήρξε μια βελτίωση σε σχέση με το ZTE H108N του παρόχου, Vodafone, αλλά όχι κάτι το ιδιαίτερο.
Ελαφρώς καλύτερο σήμα Wi-Fi, χωρίς αποσυνδέσεις και μια αύξηση της ταχύτητας της τάξης του 3 με 5% και πολύ λέω.
Επέλεξα την version 3 λόγω του chipset (αυτό που έχει και την θύρα usb πίσω), αλλά το κατάστημα μου έστειλε την version 4 σαν λογισμικό με το σασί της version 3.
Το Tp-Link TD-W9970 v4 δεν έχει την θύρα USB. Δεν ξέρω αν παίζει ρόλο ότι είναι το λογισμικό από V4 και αν είναι χειρότερο από V3.
Προσοχή από πού θα το αγοράσετε και αγοράστε το μόνο αν έχετε πολύ σοβαρό πρόβλημα με το προηγούμενο ρουτερ σας.
Να προσθέσω οτι ζεσταίνεται αρκετά και εχω κάνει την ακόλουθη πατέντα και ειναι πάντα δροσερό ...δειτε φωτογραφιες.

Recently I upgraded from 50mbps to 100mbps and they gave me the ZTE H288A. In the building's distributor, it brings 80mbps (the measurement was done by a technician and according to Nova, it is within the limits of 100mbps and for your information, when the download upload combination is 88mbps, it is within the limits and does not indicate a fault).
With the ZTE, the speeds were 74-75 and it never reached higher and the errors were 30000 in one day.
With the TPLINK, as soon as I installed it, it went straight to 80000 and it hasn't given me a single error in 2 working days.
I chose version 3 because of the Broadcom chipset, which works well with the provider's cabinets.
Very easy to install, for Nova users, you either put VLAN 835 or select VDSL Cosmote and enter your credentials.
I also put two small pieces of wood (from the Jenga game) to make it higher and ventilate better.
Two negative things I would say are that it is not compatible with the Tether application and that it does not have at least one 1000 LAN port.
I only use it as a modem since I have a router for the home network, so I can't give my opinion on the WiFi.
Finally, I would say that it is not suitable for VoIP and since all providers are heading towards that, it will be useless in the future. However, for now, since it is the cheapest VDSL modem, it is definitely worth it.
Το αγόρασα μετά από τις καλές κρητικές εδώ. Απλά μέρα με την νύχτα με τα μόντεμ των παρόχων.
Πρόσφατα ανέβηκα από τα 50mpbs στα 100mbps και μου δώσανε το zte h288a. Στον κατανεμητή της πολυκατοικίας φέρνει 80mpbs (η μέτρηση έγινε από τεχνικό και σύμφωνα με την nova είναι μέσα στα όρια των 100mbps και προς ενημέρωση σας όταν ο συνδυασμός download upload είναι 88mbps είναι μέσα στα όρια και δεν δηλώνετε βλάβη).
Με το zte οι ταχύτητες ήταν 74-75 και ποτέ δεν έφτασε παραπάνω και τα errors ήταν 30000 σε μια μέρα.
Με τον που έβαλα το TPLINK κατευθείαν 80000 και ούτε ένα error δεν μου έχει βγάλει μεσα σε 2 μέρες λειτουργίας.
Επέλεξα την version 3 λόγω του chipset που είναι broadcom και λειτουργεί καλά με τις καμπίνες των παρόχων.
Πανευκολο στην εγκατάσταση, για τους χρήστες nova βάζετε vlan 835 η επιλέγετε vdsl cosmote και βάζετε τους κωδικούς σας.
Έβαλα και δύο ξυλάκια (από το παιχνίδι jenga) για να είναι πιο ψηλά και να αερίζεται πιο καλά.
Δύο πράγματα αρνητικά θα έλεγα ότι δεν είναι συμβατό με την εφαρμογή Tether και ότι δεν έχει τουλάχιστον μία θύρα lan 1000.
Εγώ το χρησιμοποιώ μόνο σαν modem μιας και έχω router για το οικιακό δίκτυο οπότε δεν μπορώ να πω την γνώμη μου για το WiFi.
Τέλος να πω ότι δεν κάνει για voip και επειδή όλοι οι πάροχοι οδεύουν προς τα εκεί, στο μέλλον θα είναι άχρηστο. Προς το παρόν όμως μιας και είναι το πιο φτηνό vdsl modem αξίζει σίγουρα.
Take it with closed eyes! It's a treasure for its price. Good Internet and decent wifi. Pay attention to the connection, follow the automatic installation and be careful with the minimal options that we should set ourselves, e.g. FORTHNET_ADSL and Region Athens, etc.
Personally, I followed someone else's advice and put four "feet" to lift the modem/router a bit, so that there is better air circulation, resulting in it staying cool constantly. Πάρτε το με κλειστά μάτια! Για τα λεφτά του είναι θησαυρός. Καλό Ίντερνετ και αρκετά καλό wifi.Προσοχή στη σύνδεση, ακολουθάμε την αυτόματη εγκατάσταση και προσέχουμε λίγο τις ελάχιστες επιλογές που θα πρέπει να βάλουμε μόνοι μας, π.χ. FORTHNET_ADSL και Region Athens κλπ.
Προσωπικά ακολούθησα τι συμβουλή κάποιου άλλου και έβαλα τέσσερα ¨τακάκια¨ για να σηκώσω λίγο το modem/router, ώστε να γίνετε καλύτερη κυκλοφορία αέρος, με αποτέλεσμα να μένει κρύο συνεχώς. Υπάρχουν αρκετές οδηγίες στο Ίντερνετ, σας συμβουλεύω να δείτε ένα-δύο βίντεο πριν το συνδέσετε, για να το παραμετροποιήσετε σωστά από την αρχή, σε θέματα ασφάλειας.

Τα 2 παιδιά μου σε πρωινά μαθήματα μέσω ίντερνετ που πριν την αγορά του μου έκαναν συνεχως παράπονα για διακοπές και αστάθεια ,μετα την εγκατάσταση του δεν ξανά παραπονέθηκαν. Όσο αφορά την εμβέλεια δεν είδα διάφορα σχετικά με το ρούτερ του παρόχου.

I've had it for about ten days now and it used to disconnect 3-5 times a day and the speeds were frustratingly slow, but now it has only disconnected once since I got it and it consistently maintains speeds at very satisfactory levels for my area and distance from the exchange...
I didn't expect such improvement, I highly recommend it!

Είχα πάρα πολλά προβλήματα με πτώσεις της ταχύτητας και συνεχείς αποσυνδεσεις με το μόντεμ του παρόχου.
Το έχω δέκα μέρες περίπου και απο 3-5 αποσυνδεσεις την ημέρα και ταχύτητες για γερα νεύρα, τώρα έχει αποσυνδεθεί μια φορά μόνο οσο το έχω και κρατάει σταθερά την ταχύτητα σε πολύ ικανοποιητικά επίπεδα για την περιοχή μου και την απόσταση μου απ το καφαο...
Δεν περίμενα τέτοια βελτίωση, το συστήνω ανεπιφύλακτα!
The most economical solution for VDSL2, replaced the ZTE 168 of forthnet.
It does its job perfectly with high speeds and no disconnections in an 80sqm house without any wifi issues.
Easy menu with plenty of options although I think you don't need to change much.
Pay attention during setup, it doesn't have auto detect for the network, choose Greece and then your provider (ISP). If you have forthnet VDSL2 as your ISP, choose other and enter 835 for the VLAN ID and everything will be OK.
Η οικονομικοτερη λύση για vdsl2, αντικατέστησε το ZTE 168 της forthnet.
Κάνει άψογα τη δουλεία του με υψηλές ταχύτητες και χωρίς αποσυνδέσεις σε σπίτι 80τμ χωρίς κανένα θέμα με το wifi.
Εύκολο menu με πάρα πολλές επιλογές αν και νομίζω ότι δεν χρειάζεται να πειράξετε και πολλά.
Προσοχή κατά το setup, δεν έχει auto detect του δυκτίου, επιλέγετε Ελλάδα και μετά τον πάροχό σας (ISP). Αν έχετε forthnet VDSL2 στο ISP επιλέξτε other και στο VLAN ID βάλτε 835 και όλα ΟΚ.
The little modem is a star. Compared to my provider on a 50mbps line, it locked at 54998 and upload 5490. It runs at a pure 51mbps due to the splitter.
Very high-quality construction and the lights didn't blink even once. Very honest for its price. I turned off the wifi and connected it to a little router. The router on 5Ghz and at a distance of 6 meters with 3 walls gives me a speed of 52mbps. On 2.4 Ghz, 46mbps... I mention router speeds for the modem's performance.
For those who criticize it in the V2 version, they are wrong.
There are two things you need to know.
When you connect it to quick setup, you need to do auto detect of the network because if you do it manually, it will give you VLANID 1035 and even if you enter the provider's username and password correctly, it won't work.
For forthnet, it needs VLAN ID 835. And then everything works perfectly.
Fully customizable, incredible security and settings. A plethora of settings to get lost in.
Very clean User Interface and everything is right in front of you.
I bought it for someone else and ended up keeping it for myself.
As for temperatures, it is much cooler than the latest Forthnet ZTE H267N.
It has many holes-grills for heat dissipation.
The secret, if you want it to be completely cool, is to put two wooden blocks on the right and left side underneath so that the heat escapes DIRECTLY without getting heated from continuous use from underneath. Alternatively, as I did, you can use 4 cut N10 cups at 0.8 centimeters and glue them with hot glue in the 4 corners from underneath. And if you want to remove them later, they come off from the plastic without any damage or harm.
As for the wifi, with 3 walls in between, it gives me a speed of 22mbps.
The 2 antennas of 4 dbi ensure quality and power compared to the providers' rubbish.
As soon as I got it, I manually upgraded the firmware because it doesn't do it automatically.
Pay attention to the version... it is TD W9970 V3. You can download it from TPLINK and it is a critical upgrade.
There was an issue with hacking CWMP and TPLINK fixed it immediately.

Το modem-άκι είναι αστέρι. Σε σχέση με του παρόχου μου σε γραμμη 50mbps forthnet κλείδωσε στα 54998 και upload 5490. Εννοείται οτι τρέχει στα 51mbps καθαρά λόγω κόφτη.
Πολύ ποιοτική κατασκευή και οι λυχνίες δεν αναβόσβησαν ούτε για πλάκα μία φορά. Πολύ τίμιο για τα χρήματά του. Έκλεισα το wifi και το έχω συνδεδεμένο με router-άκι. To ρουτεράκι σε 5Ghz και απόσταση 6 μέτρα με 3 τοίχους μου δίνει ταχύτητα 52mbps. Σε 2,4 Ghz 46mbps...αναφέρω ταχύτητες απο το ρούτερ για το θέμα απόδοσης απο το modem.
Για όσους το κράζουν στην έκδοση V2 δεν έχουν δίκιο.
Θέλει 2 πραγματάκια να γνωρίζεις.
Όταν το συνδέεις στο quick setup πρέπει να κάνετε auto detect του δικτύου, επειδή manual σας βγάζει VLANID 1035 και ακόμη και το usename και password του παρόχου να βάλετε σωστά ΔΕΝ θα δουλέψει.
Στο VLAN ID για forthnet θέλει 835. Και μετά όλα δουλέυουν ΡΟΛΟΙ.
ΤΕΡΜΑ παραμετροποιησιμο, απίστευτη ασφάλεια και ρυθμίσεις. Πληθώρα ρυθμίσεων που χάνεσαι.
Πολύ καθαρό User Interface και όλα μπροστά σας.
Το πήρα για άλλον και έμεινε σε μένα.
Όσο δέ για θερμοκρασίες, πολύ πιο δροσερό του τελευταίου της Forthnet zte ΖΧΝ Η267Ν.
Έχει πολλές οπές-γρίλιες για απαγωγή της θερμοκρασίας.
Το μυστικό ΑΝ θέλετε να είναι τέρμα δροσερό, είναι να βάλετε δύο ξύλινα τακάκια δεξιά και αριστερά απο κάτω ώστε η θερμότητα να διαφέυγει ΑΜΕΣΑ χωρίς να ζεσταίνεται απο την αδιάκοπη χρήση απο κάτω ή εναλλακτικά όπως το έκανα εγώ, 4 κομμένες Ν10 ούπες στα 0,8 του εκατοστού, και κολλημένες με θερμόκολλα στις 4 γωνίες απο κάτω. Και να θέλετε να τις ξεκολλήσετε μετά, σε κλάσματα ξεκολλάνε απο το πλαστικό δίχως καμία ζημιά ή βλάβη.
Όσο για το wifi, με 3 τοίχους ανάμεσα μου δίνει 22mbps ταχύτητα.
Οι 2 κεραίες των 4 dbi εξασφαλίζουν ποιότητα και ισχύ σε σχέση τα ψοφια των παρόχων.
Με το που το πήρα έκανα manual upgrade firmware επειδή στο αυτόματο δεν τη βγάζει.
Προσοχή στη version...είναι TD W9970 V3. Την κατεβάζετε απο την TPLINK και είναι κρίσιμη αναβάθμιση.
Υπήρχε θέμα hacking CWMP ΚΑΙ η TPLINK το έκλεισε άμεσα.
Θα πάρω άμεσα και 2ο για εκείνον που του το "έκλεψα".
I haven't dealt with a worse router than this one. I had one that was given to me by Forthnet when I made the connection and I had no problems. Since I replaced it, I have been frustrated, especially with the mobile phone that needs to be literally stuck to the router to have a signal. Far away. Δεν έχω συμβιώσει με χειρότερο router από το συγκεκριμένο. Είχα ένα που μου είχε δώσει η Forthnet όταν είχα κάνει τη σύνδεση και δεν είχα κανένα πρόβλημα. Από τότε που το αντικατέστησα έχω απηυδήσει ιδίως με το κινητό που πρέπει να είναι κολλημένο (κυριολεκτικά) πάνω στο router για να έχει σήμα. Μακρυά. Και με πιο φθηνά θεωρώ ότι θα κάνετε πολύ καλύτερη δουλειά.
Kelepouri after seven months of continuous operation does not present any problem no matter how many devices are connected to it. Κελεπουρι μετά από επτά μήνες συνεχούς λειτουργίας δεν παρουσιάζει κανένα πρόβλημα όσες συσκευές και αν συνδεθούν πάνω του . Σίγουρα vfm προϊόν και όποιος προλάβει να το πάρει. Πανευκολη εγκατάσταση απροβληματιστη λειτουργεία το σεταρεις μια φορά και το ξεχνάς .... πάρτε το χωρίς δεύτερη σκέψη!!!
When wireless devices (e.g. mobile phones) connect, after a while the router freezes... I couldn't figure it out and eventually I only use it for the local wired Ethernet network...

2)Το σήμα που εκπέμπει το wi-fi είναι 10 μέτρα ευθεία και αν μεσολαβεί τοίχος δεν έχεις σήμα στο μπαλκόνι σου καθόλου έως ασθενές

Μάπα. Ασταθές wifi σε ελέυθερο κανάλι χωρίς παρεμβολές, μια φορά μονο μου έπιασε 43mbps ενώ συνήθως παίζει γυρο στο 15mbps. Συχνά κολλάει και ακόμα και με καλώδιο πιάνει χαμηλες ταχύτητες, ενω με restart ξαναπιάνει full speed οπου κρατάει κανα 2 μέρες πριν πέσει πάλι. Εννοείται παρηγγειλα άλλο κι αυτό θα το χαρίσω σε κανεναν κακομοιρη καθώ δεν αξίζει ούτε 10 ευρώ να το πουλήσω.

I have the device for 1.5 months, it has a very good range so far no complaints. Update until now 8/2020. Two years from the purchase it works fine

I have returned it twice (receiving the first replacement) with the exact same problem, it freezes and you have to turn off the Wi-Fi to unfreeze it. It is simply unacceptable!!!!!

Excellent product for the money it asks for in adsl line and then in vdsl line it increases the speed by 3 mbps from the stock routers (ote, zte, forthnet, etc.). Simply excellent, I highly recommend it

I had to do some configuration via the web as an administrator, but otherwise everything went well. It's already been a month and it works consistently well.
Χρειάστηκε να κάνω κάποιο configuration μέσω web ως administrator, αλλά κατά τ'αλλα όλα πήγαν καλά. Ήδη κλείνει μήνα και δουλεύει σταθερά καλά.
Overall stable and fast. At first, it was a bit challenging because it didn't work well with my computer, but after a few months, I haven't had any issues (probably my laptop needed an upgrade).
Γενικά σταθερό και γρήγορο. Τον πρώτο καιρό λίγο παιδευτικα γιατί δεν έπαιζε καλά με τον υπολογιστή μου αλλά μετά από μερικούς μήνες δεν έχω κανένα θέμα (μάλλον ήθελε Upgrade το Laptop μου).

I did not expect improvement because the technicians who came did not find any problem, yet it saved me. I recommend it to anyone who has problems with their line.
Είναι εύκολο στην χρήση του και σταθερό στην λειτουργία.
Διόρθωσε τα προβλήματα των επανειλημμένων επανεκκινήσεων.
Δεν περίμενα βελτίωση γιατί όσοι τεχνικοί πέρασαν δεν έβρισκαν κάποιο πρόβλημα, κι όμως με έσωσε, το συστήνω σε όποιον έχει προβλήματα με την γραμμή του.
I have the version 4 here for 6 months now. It replaced the unacceptable one from nova for its ADSL connections, which lasted for a year. When it breaks, I will come back. For now, no problems in terms of speed and stability, at least in my limited connection. It did not have any overheating issues, also, with the room where it is located being very hot in the summer and without air conditioning. I do not notice any speed loss in Wi-Fi, and the range is decent. The following negatives were identified:
- The menu is slightly problematic in some areas, as if it was designed for older versions and does not include everything as it should. The problem I encountered was that it comes with NAT boost enabled (for higher speeds in very fast connections), but I cannot find the option to disable or enable it anywhere. However, I needed to disable it because NAT boost does not allow manual port forwarding selection (which appears in the menu as virtual servers, so you are not sure if you found it), leaving the option of opening and closing ports only through UPnP. So, the menu allows you to select the manual ports setting, but it does not inform you that it will not work because it is incompatible with NAT boost. Therefore, after a lot of head scratching to figure out what I did wrong and why the ports I defined were not opening, I found out that when you try to enable Dos Protection, then and only then the menu informs you that there is also an incompatibility with NAT boost and asks if you want to close it. And as I said initially, it does not close in any other way. Wanting to have the ability to open/close it in the future without resetting the factory settings, I made two backup configurations, one with NAT boost enabled and one with it disabled - after I closed it with the above stupid method. After this foolishness, everything is fine, for me and the settings I needed to make at least.
- The USB port is for a SIM card and not for file sharing. If you need the latter, look for version V3.
Otherwise, for its price, I consider it decent.
Έχω την έκδοση 4 εδώ και 6 μήνες. Αντικατέστησε το απαράδεκτο της nova για τις συνδέσεις ADSL της, το οποίο άντεξε ένα χρόνο. Αν/΄όταν χαλάσει, θα επανέλθ.ω Προς το παρόν, κανένα πρόβλημα από άποψη ταχύτητας και σταθερότητας, στην περιορισμένων δυνατοτήτων σύνδεσή μου τουλάχιστο. Προβλήματα λόγω υπερθέρμανσης δεν είχε, επίσης, με το δωμάτιο όπου βρίσκεται να είναι πολύ ζεστό το καλοκαίρι και χωρίς κλιματισμό. Στο Wi-Fi δεν παρατηρώ κάποια απώλεια ταχύτητας, ενώ και η εμβέλεια είναι καλούτσικη. Στα αρνητικά του εντόπισα τα εξής:
- Το μενού του δείχνει ελαφρά προβληματικό σε κάποια σημεία, σα να σχεδιάστηκε για παλιότερες εκδόσεις και δεν περιλαμβάνει τα πάντα όπως πρέπει. Το πρόβλημα που συνάντησα ήταν ότι έρχεται με το NAT boost ενεργοποιημένο (για υψηλότερες ταχύτητες σε πολύ γρήγορες συνδέσεις), αλλά δε βρίσκω πουθενά την επιλογή απενεργοποίησης ή επανενεργοποίησής του. Χρειαζόταν ωστόσο να το απενεργοποιήσω, γιατί το NAT boost δεν επιτρέπει να επιλέξεις manual port forwarding (το οποίο εμφανίζεται στο μενού με τον όρο virtual servers, έτσι, για να μην είστε σίγουροι αν βρήκατε που είναι), αφήνοντας την επιλογή ανοιγοκλεισίματος ports μόνο μέσω UPnP. Το μενού σε αφήνει λοιπόν να επιλέξεις τη ρύθμιση manual ports, αλλά δεν ενημερώνει ότι οι δε θα λειτουργήσει γιατί είναι ασύμβατο με το NAT boost. Οπότε, μετά από αρκετό σπάσιμο κεφαλιού για να βρω τι έκανα λάθος και δεν άνοιγαν τα ports που όριζα, διαπίστωσα ότι όταν προσπαθήσεις να ενεργοποιήσεις το Dos Protection, τότε και μόνο τότε το μενού σε πληροφορεί ότι υπάρχει κι εδώ ασυμβατότητα με το NAT boost και σε ρωτά αν θέλεις να κλείσει. Και όπως είπα αρχικά, δεν κλείνει με άλλον τρόπο. Θέλοντας να έχω τη δυνατότητα να το ανοίξω/κλείσω στο μέλλον χωρίς επαναφορά εργοστασιακών ρυθμίσεων, έκανα δύο backup ρυθμίσεων, μία με NAT boost ενεργό και μία με κλειστό - αφού το έκλεισα με την παραπάνω χαζή μέθοδο. Έπειτα από αυτή την αστειότητα, όλα εντάξει, για μένα και τις ρυθμίσεις που χρειάστηκα να κάνω τουλάχιστο.
- Η θύρα USB είναι για κάρτα SIM και όχι για διαμοιρασμό αρχείων. Αν χρειάζεστε το τελευταίο, αναζητήστε την έκδοση V3.
Κατά τ'άλλα για τα λεφτά του το θεωρώ αξιοπρεπές.
Very good router, superior quality compared to those offered by companies. HOWEVER, it is only a router. I do not recommend it for owners of cosmote modems.
Πολύ καλό ρούτερ, ανώτερη ποιότητα από αυτά που διαθέτουν οι εταιρείες. ΠΡΟΣΟΧΗ όμως είναι μόνο ρούτερ. Δεν το συνιστώ για κατόχους μόντεμ της cosmote.
