Well, I have had this processor for about 2.5 years. It is good for simple internet browsing or watching a movie, but I wouldn't recommend it for gaming. It can't handle COD Warzone at all, even though it is a heavy game; in GTA RP, you will constantly be dropping frames because the benchmarks show the CPU at 100% while the GPU is at 40%, when it should be the other way around. Only FORTNITE and GTA ONLINE can run without issues, but I don't think anyone would be satisfied with just those two. Anyway, if you want it for simple use, it is a decent and honest processor, but it is not ideal for gaming work. I can't stand the gaming experience with it anymore, and that's why I decided to build a new one with a Ryzen 5 3600, which is a beast!!

It has been in my basic setup for almost 5 years without any problems, without any overheating or freezing. Multitasking, gaming, movies, and everything related, it handles all without lags. Of course, it is a CPU from several years ago; it is now worth going for next-gen if you want to have a better experience and something more...

I do not recommend it at all for games. With 16GB RAM and GTX 1060 6GB, it runs Warzone with high graphics at 45-60 fps with a lot of lag spikes. GTA RP will not load the graphics for you and you will keep crashing due to the graphics. It is not that good for gaming...

If you put your own cooler on it, it’s perfect for starting your PC. Of course, there are better processors, but if you have a 7th generation mobo and want something satisfactory to start with, I recommend it. If you’re just starting to build it now, consider AMD or Intel 8th.

The temperature reached 75 degrees several times and I had to open the case. As soon as I tried to use the boost mode it has, I got a black screen, forcing me to restart the computer so that the old settings would automatically restore. Just bad, better to gather and go for a Ryzen 7 1700 Box rather than getting the Intel. Additionally, when you alt-tab many times, it freezes, resulting in having to restart the PC again.

What can I do, I bought it used because there's no way I'm going to spend 150 for 4c4T, I would have gone for Ryzen but I'm not in a position to change mobo, rams, and so on... the cost of Intel is tragic, it should have been 100 euros new just like I got it used

Good processor. But I bought it in a hurry. I could have gone for Ryzen but I didn't know how these processors would perform and I went for this one. It's good, worth the money, but if I were to buy a PC now, I would go for Ryzen 5 1600. I have it with 8GB RAM, initially I had it with onboard graphics, it was okay but for games it did the job. I only tried LoL/CS:GO and PUBG, it played with 20fps on DX10 just to test it. Now I put in a 1050 Ti and I'm all set. As for temperatures, it's great; if I don't do anything, it's at 20 degrees and under full load it doesn't go over 60

wasted money and the CPU and for an Intel motherboard. better buy an AMD Ryzen 3 1200 and any B350 motherboard if you are buying during this time and it will cost you at least €120 cheaper, maybe even more that you can spend on a graphics card... easily overclock the Ryzen 1200 to 4.0GHz and it will outperform this CPU here in everything. games... rendering... coding... office... video... etc etc and with much better temperatures and consumption.

Excellent choice for 1080p gaming... I've had it for about a month and its performance is slightly better than I expected, as are its temperatures. 27°C at idle and 49°C after two hours of full load. It opens everything very quickly and with a boost clock of 3.4 GHz, it has nothing to envy from the 7500 and is €20 cheaper... it has been combined with a cooler from be Quiet!, the Pure Rock Slim.

I upgraded to an HTPC to play 4K videos.
It performs quite well, with the processor at 40%-50% during 4K playback.
If you want it for such use, pay a little attention to the motherboard, because I got one that only has HDMI 1.4 and not DisplayPort, resulting in being limited to 30Hz instead of 60Hz.
Also, check if the motherboard directly supports the processor. Otherwise, you will either need to have an older supported processor or (as in my case) send it to the representative for an upgrade. In any case, the processor is flawless.

Attention, anyone thinking of building a PC with a Kabylake CPU should know that the motherboards H110, B150, H170, and Z170 will not post (the PC will not start) if they do not have the latest BIOS update. If the motherboards do not support flash BIOS without a CPU, a Skylake CPU will need to be installed to perform the update.
