Brushless Motor

Less wear, greater performance

The advantage that brushless motors have over brushed motors is that they do not have friction since there are no carbon brushes. Without carbon brushes, the motors are more efficient and have a longer lifespan as there is no wear and tear (the carbon brushes in brushed motors wear out with use). They produce less noise, maintain their torque at all speeds, do not overheat, and do not require maintenance.

    Good tool, however with the dust collector I got for it, it clogs because the planer does not have a good fan for removing shavings... in one minute everything gathers at the neck and the whole system clogs. While the collection bin remains empty. If you don't want shavings all over the place, you have to connect a vacuum cleaner.
