Overall, it is improved in terms of graphical representation of monsters - cities - characters, greater freedom to move, more different battlefields, various side quests, monster medals that now you can transform into a monster, you can also change vocations for the 2 main characters (mage, thief, martial artist, priest in addition to the classic warrior), it has cooperative play where you can play on certain stages with others or even with friends, plenty of humor at certain moments, and it is entertaining without getting tired.
You don't need to have played Dragon Quest Heroes first and for those who have played it, they will find the upgrades cool and welcome. As usual, Dragon Quest games are a pleasant different note compared to classic Japanese RPGs and at the low price it is sold now, you have absolutely nothing to lose.
