So I tried the Razer Tournament, Razer Nari Chroma, Logitech 935, and all of them had issues. I would describe the Tournament as having a terrible microphone, the Nari with the Elite controller that I wanted to connect when playing on Xbox One X and not on PC simply didn't work with the jack. The 935 were likeable but had very poor build quality and slightly weaker sound compared to the previous two. Well, I took the step and got the Sony Platinum. The sound is powerful and very nice and clear, connecting with the Xbox Elite controller via mini jack and you simply hear everything... I play purely FPS games... footsteps, gunshots, everything is heard normally and you know where they're coming from. They're incredible even before they arrive and work flawlessly on Xbox One. You simply adjust the volume up, down, open, close the mic manually from the console in a second.
On PC, everything is wireless with the included dongle. The sound is amazing... for those who want to play with an equalizer, I recommend Dolby Atmos, which is available for both PC and Xbox. I personally use it as it is, without Dolby Atmos, with Windows Sonic, and it works great. I just mention it for the more advanced users. That's all from me, I hope I helped.

Owner for about a year! The Platinum Wireless Headset is by far the best wireless headphones you will find on the market along with the Astro! If you want exclusive headsets for the PS4, you will buy the Platinum, if you want for PC, you will buy the Astro! The sound is clear with satisfactory and as it should be bass, the design is convenient compared to all gaming headphones, it is simply the best that has been created, you wear them comfortably on a plane trip and they are very elegant, the aluminum gives and creates a luxurious beauty that you understand that you have something sturdy but also very high quality! The surround sound is incredibly targeted in FPS games, you understand everything and in combination with the most important advantage that supports 3D sound, the sound simply mesmerizes! There is no need for thought, you can also clarify it on the internet, it is the top choice especially for PS4, 3D sound in FPS Horror games and in general simply mesmerizes, sturdy construction is just one more reason for your purchase! The current price is ridiculous if you consider that the initial price was €300. Finally, if you want something simple to upgrade your sound, you can also buy Razer and Gold, which are equally amazing, but if you want a more sturdy, more luxurious construction and the ultimate sound, the 3D sound that in compatible games the sound is imposing, and in the future all new games will support 3D sound, then the only way is in front of you, the Platinum Wireless! For the ultimate and high-quality but also future-proof (3D sound) enjoyment and the most important quality! They are not called Platinum by chance!

These specific ones were on my wishlist for several months, waiting for a price reduction to purchase. I finally got them for 136 euros in June '19. As a point of comparison, I had various 20 euro headphones, Apple's BeatsX, various comparison reviews with the gold headset, and the 5-channel dts Logitech z906.

Connection with mobile for mp3: UNFORTUNATELY, they do not connect via Bluetooth, only with the regular cable (epic fail). However, the sound is superior, clearer, and with better bass than anything in the 20 euro range and BeatsX. However, I would like to be able to increase the volume even more (maybe another 20%) and I was expecting even stronger bass.

Connection with PS4: I haven't tried them yet with the few games that have 3D sound (another epic fail, Sony has 4-5 games with 3D sound, Uncharted, Spiderman, Horizon, 1-2 baseball games I think, and 1-2 that I forget). So, the sound in 5-channel or 7-channel is quite pleasant, clear, and you can perceive the space, but the bass... just satisfactory. I wanted them to be a click louder.

Usage: They embrace the entire ear, they will keep it warm in winter, but in summer you forget about them during any activity (e.g. gym) because besides being bulky, you sweat easily with any movement. Also, they do NOT cut off external noise more effectively than any other headphone that goes into the ear.

In various comparison reviews, they say that the gold headset is less powerful and with much less bass, so stay away, prefer the platinum that has borderline okay bass. In no case expect the "wow" like I did, expecting that I bought the... Z906 in headphones.

If you want to experience the speed of a Corvette ZR1 755hp in GT and tremble from decibels, full sound, and adrenaline, anything in the 5-channel dts TYPE like the Logitech z906 for 250 euros is what you're looking for, not these headphones.

However, if for any reason you are looking for headphones for PS4, it's a one-way street, just know what to expect.

Unfortunately, they are not worth their money... My previous headphones were wired and an old model, and the difference in sound is imperceptible. I expected with such expensive headphones, exclusively designed for gaming, the difference to be obvious. Also, after not excessive hours of use, the headphones start to bother my ears. The worst of all, which is unacceptable, is that sometimes (which happens quite often) there is a problem with the headphones. The volume of the left speaker drops so much that the headphones seem to only function on one side.
P.S. After 2 years, the problem of sound reduction not only remains but is even more pronounced to the point where I am considering throwing them away.
Plus, another problem occurred. Trying to play online, I couldn't hear the chat at all. It should be noted that I confirmed both problems as real through internet research, and unfortunately, none of those who had them found a permanent solution.
The headphones are so terrible that I now see them as a disgrace to Sony and nothing else. If you want to do yourself a favor, don't even think about buying them. Stay away!!!
