Description

The latest title in the popular series takes us to Tokyo and immerses us in the world of Joker, a student who transferred to Shujin Academy after being expelled from his previous school, where he was unjustly accused of assault.

The game depicts the ordinary and seemingly harmless daily life of Japan's capital and how our teenage protagonists escape from it, leaving clear hints about how to cope with life in modern metropolises.

By discovering their inner psychic powers, Persona, they gain special abilities and transform into Phantom Thieves of Hearts, who face their greatest fears!

Choose your own equipment, combine it with the unique abilities of each character, and confront your demons to achieve inner peace and happiness!

Unleash Your Persona

Experience the unusual lives of a very ordinary group of aspiring social engineers and use the otherworldly abilities of the "Persona" to alter the world around you.

Spend your day in Tokyo as ordinary students and at night put on your masks and ally with the avenger team "Phantom Thieves." Project yourselves through unique supernatural powers in the world of "Palace" - the mysterious and sinister realm of the unconscious - and fight the "Shadows" to drive the evil out of people's hearts and minds.

Continuation of the multi-award-winning Persona game series, Persona 5 retains the philosophy of fast-paced battles and complex RPG elements, combined with the charm of simulating everyday social interactions. Proper time allocation between romance and work is as critical to success as defeating embodied evil and exploring forgotten dungeons.

Are you ready to ally with the Phantom Thieves?

Persona 5 deserves 5 stars, the Royal deserves 5 with an accent. This game unexpectedly proves to be the hero we don't deserve but need! An exceptional story enriched with many characters and literally endless hours of gameplay, full of artistic visual beauties, awesome themes and soundtrack, challenges, exploration opportunities, character interactions, and much more! Definitely a must-play for RPG fans but also for those who prefer story-driven games that offer hours of exploration and experimentation with different strategies. A game that literally has it all, and is worth every penny! The definition of value for money.

It is a JRPG (who knows, knows) with very good characters and story, childlike gameplay, cartoonish graphics. What bothered me was the abrupt ending (many quests are left unfinished) without warning and the "mute" protagonist.. the last part was very disappointing! I would say it is more of a dating sim than an adventure.

I have to say that the game is really great, it's huge in terms of gameplay hours. It will take you about 1 month to finish it, which is around 80 to 90 hours of gameplay. It took me 120 hours because I was playing casually and not rushing. Now, if you're a Pro in RPGs, it might take you 50 hours. Anyway, the game has a perfect story and many characters with whom you will develop relationships (friendly or romantic). Also, the people you meet and befriend unlock new abilities in battle, which is really good!

It is a Turned Based RPG with multiple different endings, so you have to be careful with your actions in the game if you want the true ending. I don't want to say anything else to avoid accidentally spoiling anything.

    10/10 from me.

One of the best, if not the best, JRPG on the ps4 right now. Huge in duration and yet not at all exhausting, it also has an amazing soundtrack. I consider it a must-have for fans of the genre.

Every star and every euro is worth it.
Nice cartoonish graphics, amazing music, exciting gameplay, it reminds me of Yakuza and Akiba's Trip with its map, with many options to evolve and spend your time after school, addictive, you rarely get bored and it's long-lasting.

First time playing a game and I cried when it ended... Honestly, I consider it the best game I've ever played along with The Last of Us. What can I say about this epic... About its incredible mechanics? About MY personally beloved combat system? About its wonderful and content-rich story? About the fantastic characters and their amazing development? About the beautiful cutscenes and the stunning artstyle? About its EPIC soundtrack? Whatever anyone says is not enough, just get it and you won't regret it... It took me 142 hours and 37 minutes on hard mode to finish it, as soon as I did and after crying during the credits, I immediately started a new game. 11 out of 10.

The game is simply EPIC... it has so many things to do that at first it may seem a little difficult but it's not, you just have to pay attention to the details... I was never really into JRPGs but this game has it all, incredible music, crazy simple and clever art design in everything (menus, dialogues, etc.) It has deep stories with meanings from life that the game narrates in such a way that it doesn't consider you a 'fool'. If you give it a little time, it will reward you! The perfect game for me when I want to relax for hours on the couch (100+ hours gameplay)

By far the favorite game I have played in recent years. It is the game that introduced me to the franchise called "Persona" by Shin Megami Tensei. I must admit that I have spent over 200 hours on it since September and I am currently on ng++. As for the story, you take on the role of a high school student in Japan who uses his secret powers to bring his country - and by extension, the whole world - to a better state. You have full control of his daily life, from studying for exams to exploring the game's dungeons. I won't even touch on the combat and music aspects because they have left me speechless and I believe you should experience them for yourselves. In conclusion, I believe it's worth the money. I hope whoever buys it enjoys it as much as I do

Perhaps the best game in the series in terms of gameplay and art style, but as a general impression, it falls far short of its predecessor, Persona 4 Golden. The last dungeons drag on for too long, without offering anything special compared to the previous ones, which becomes tiresome. The element of mystery is also very light, as the "traitor" is revealed from the very beginning, and as for the story, personally, I cannot identify with it or take it seriously, as the supposed criminals in the game are just everyday businessmen, politicians, and generally people who exploit their powerful position in society. A businessman exploits his staff to make money... the game just told us something.

Overall, the game's theme, where the problem of society and each situation is corrupt adults, is cringe-worthy. However, as I said at the beginning, aesthetically, it is the best Persona game that has been released.

Easily in the top ten ever.
We're talking about a balanced action mechanism, something that requires thought. Every choice (almost) is important and opens up new possibilities. It quickly puts you in the team, has the courage to introduce concepts that you don't see almost anywhere else, its humor is exceptional, the music is a masterpiece, even the smallest details make you feel that it is something special. It is definitely not for everyone, but for those who are, it's worth every euro.
And if you hesitate, even better. It will surprise you even more.

Without exaggeration, the best jrpg of the last (at least) decade and comparable to the top ones of the golden age of the 90s. A clear purchase if you are a fan of jrpgs, but even if you are not, it serves as a very good introduction to this specific genre.

Note: I am not an anime fan.
The graphics are average, the anime scenes are awesome. There is a huge artistic exaggeration in the UI that personally tires me, while in my opinion they could have given more emphasis on the graphics than on the UI. Also, the endless dialogues tired me, many of them could have been omitted.
Now, regarding the story. It is simply captivating, especially towards the end where there are plot twists.
And despite all the negatives I mentioned, I generously give it a 5, because you really connect with the team, the story, and the gameplay.
100+ hours of gameplay and I never got bored, on the contrary, I was sad when it ended.
I am eagerly waiting for the announcement of Persona 6 and to see super graphics and less exaggeration in the surroundings. It definitely belongs to my favorite games, now.

Awesome game. Its graphics have a unique but beautiful style, the background music fits incredibly well, even though initially someone might consider it less "beat" than it should be, but the standout feature is the wonderful story, which, once you get attached to it, captivates you until the end and even beyond.

The fact that it is in the top 5 games of the year is naturally expected.

    At 35€ it's a steal.
The game is simply one of the best, if not the best, JRPG of the past years.
You can have hours and still be jet.

Without exaggeration, the best jrpg of the last (at least) decade and comparable to the top ones of the golden age of the 90s. A clear purchase if you are a fan of jrpgs, but even if you are not, it serves as a very good introduction to this specific genre.

Awesome jrpg with a very nice plot, you don't get bored at all and it keeps you interested, reminiscent of the old good jrpgs, has very nice music, I'm already at 70 hours and it seems to have plenty more

The top JRPG in the market, but not for those who get bored quickly. The 1st playthrough is 80-100 hours and you won't have seen 100% of it.

  • Persona 5 deserves 5 stars, the Royal deserves 5 with an accent.

  • Guys, I believe that Persona stands up well against Fortnite. Truly, very good gameplay as well as mechanics

  • It is a JRPG (who knows, knows) with very good characters and story, childlike gameplay, cartoonish graphics. What bothered me was the abrupt ending (many quests are left unfinished) without warning and the "mute" protagonist.. the last part was very disappointing! I would say it is more of a dating sim than an adventure.
