Innovative design

The Baby K’tan carrier is an innovation in baby carrying. It combines sling, wrap, and tai, offering positions and advantages of all three. There is nothing similar; it is ready to wear and provides comfort at all times for the mother to carry her baby or toddler (from newborn to 3 years old) in many positions.

Babyk'tan Tips

  • Ensure that the child has clean air
  • You should be able to fit two fingers between the baby's chin and chest
  • If the baby does not support its head, use one of the two fabric rings to support the head
  • For positions that require the belt: Make sure the belt is securely tied around the baby
  • For the Hug position, double hip or adventure positions: Make sure the fabric is spread wide and reaches up to the baby's knees to create a comfortable and safe seat
  • Check your baby frequently and even more often when they are under 4 months old

Size Information

  • When you try on the Baby K’tan (without the baby inside), the lowest point the fabric should fall should be below the chest and above the navel. When you wear the child, the lowest point should be at the navel or waist but not below the hips.
  • When carrying your baby in the Baby K’tan: If the lowest point of the sling is at the hips, choose a smaller size; if the lowest point is at your chest, choose a larger size.
  • When carrying the baby with the Baby K’tan and you feel that the sling is too loose (e.g., the child feels insecure, the legs move a lot when you walk, or it slips off your shoulders), choose a smaller size.
  • The size of the Baby K’tan is not based on the child's age or weight. Its elastic fabric and different carrying positions allow the sling to "grow" with your child. That is, you do not need to get a larger size as your baby grows and becomes a toddler (up to 16 kg).
  • The Baby K’tan sling is made of 100% cotton. It should fit securely and safely on you and your child. For a better fit, wash and dry it – it will fit even more snugly to your body. If you are a new mom and inexperienced in baby wearing, you might think the sling is too small, but having it snug is important for the safe transport of the child and good support for your back. The cotton, elastic knit allows the Baby K’tan to adapt to you and your baby.

    I loved it! At first, I thought I got the wrong size, I got the xs, but then I realized it's just fine because it keeps the baby stable in place and will stretch a bit so it will fit perfectly.     I use it for walks outside and not for chores at home, as I find it difficult to do chores with a baby in front of me... Well, maybe some easy things you can do. Our baby is big, so I got it in my size and it's okay, maybe a size smaller would have been better.
    I'm coming back after 3 months of use and I have to add to the positives, that the many ways of tying are convenient... We have now tried the explore position and it suited us very well. Of course, our baby is a little big, for smaller babies it will take a little longer since this position is for babies 4 months and older.

The booklet with the instructions does not show all the steps on how to position it, I got the large size which ended up being too big even though they asked for my height and weight before sending the product, the baby was not happy and was overheating now that we had summer. I will wait for them to grow up and get a regular baby carrier. At least for me personally. It definitely suits others
