Acana Classic Red proved to be an excellent food, with a noticeable improvement in the dog's energy and digestion, although its price is a bit high compared to others.

A little caution! I have been an Acana customer since I got my Akita. When he was about 7 years old, I decided to get him the red. I got stingy for a few euros less than the Adult. So, after about a year, he developed a "red tear." I read, I asked vets... a lot. In the end, they told me that your dog is getting older and it's normal... but I had read an article that some foods (bad ones) have colorants and other things and that could be the cause... I thought, no way, Acana? In the end, since my Akita is now 11, I've been giving him Acana Senior for a year now. Result: his eyes cleared up even though he's getting older, his coat is much better, and his stools... It's better to pay a few euros more for another Acana, not this one.

We have been using this specific brand for about a year and a half and we are completely satisfied.
The food is very carefully made and of very good quality.

The ONLY negative is the packaging (it doesn't have tape to open/close).
The Acana Red (as well as all products from this brand) is top-notch for its price. I adopted a 16-month-old pitbull with a faded beige color. In about 2 months, it became shiny brown.
There is absolutely no smell from the farts (anyone who knows about dogs knows the issue with large breeds living indoors and having gas).
The feces are practically odorless and solidify quickly.
I won't even discuss the physique, the dog is a bodybuilder.
Get it 100% without fear, you won't regret it for a minute.

By far the worst dog food I have ever bought!!! I still cry for the money I wasted on this! Firstly, the dog was constantly losing weight, even though I was giving him a larger quantity than recommended. Secondly, his fur had a terrible smell, his breath smelled like something had died in his stomach, and as for the feces... I had to be a couple of kilometers away to not faint from the stench... or better yet, in another city!!! Just one look at the ingredients is enough to understand why. 50% is lentils, chickpeas, zucchini (...with oregano???) and other similar things, and out of the remaining 50%, only 1/3 is fresh meat! The dog is a CARNIVORE, he's not a chicken or a goat to eat vegetables! In small quantities, they might be beneficial, but not when half of the bag is lentils, chickpeas, etc. Shouldn't I have bought it from the local market instead??? Anyway... Terrible experience! I wouldn't give it to my dog, even if they gave it to me for free!!!

The only dry food that my dogs love. We use it for training as well. Their fur shines and they have energy.

It is one of the best foods. A little expensive, but you use a much smaller quantity and it covers your daily dosage
