I was trying to understand. Is it really possible for someone to haunt your life? Someone you believed loved you? Yes. When they do not accept the breakup. When their mind begins to operate dangerously, trying to satisfy their wounded ego. This person is not satisfied with their life, no matter what they believe. They are not at peace with themselves. They seek to prove that they can make others do whatever they want. Everything inside them kicks. Everything! The pain and anger from the breakup become driving forces that lead them down wrong paths, pushing them to hurt others. Physically and emotionally. Love-Toxic is the fourth novel of my writing career, and I am so happy that it has been republished, that it is once again in your arms, renewed, brand new, written entirely again by me. It is a novel I love very much because it was the first time I dealt with first-person narration and I "fell in love" with it. I feel that in this way I become the hero in the hero's place and bring you along with me.
I feel that I experience more vividly the thoughts and actions of my characters. It’s not easy, especially when the story develops dramatically. But I enjoy fighting as a writer, solving puzzles, overturning situations, taking your breath away. I believe that the power of personal testimony ensures immediacy, credibility, and authenticity. And it has a confessional, intimate character. Just like this book. I enjoy explaining to you how each of my novels started, what sparked my interest, what made me dive into the sea of writing. This time, I was drawn in by a close friend of mine. Her personal experiences. The relationship she once had and believed had ended. But she was mistaken.
