Let's first say a few words about the machine and then about the painting. The compressor is what produces the air and sends it through the hose to the spray gun. The motor makes quite a bit of noise. In a closed space, it will be a bit much for your ears along with a high-pitched whistling sound it makes.

As soon as we press the switch, the motor starts working and constantly sends air to the spray gun, even if we don't pull the trigger. By pulling the trigger, it starts to draw paint from the container and sprays it. Releasing the trigger stops the paint, but air continues to come out under pressure, so the motor only stops with its switch.

The spray pattern is a fairly wide fan. By turning the front ring 90 degrees, we orient the fan from horizontal to vertical. At 45 degrees, instead of a fan, it sprays in a circle. Unfortunately, we can't adjust the fan width as you can with guns from other companies, so I "deducted" one star for that.

The cleaning kit is very good, the spare nozzle for thicker paints, and the little cup to measure the paint's viscosity (how thick it is). You dip it fully into the paint, and once it's filled to the top, you lift it and measure the time it takes to empty completely. Up to 25-30 seconds is ideal paint for spraying. From 30-60 seconds, it will be a bit difficult but will probably work. If it takes more than 1 minute to empty the cup, the paint definitely needs thinning with water (if it's water-based) or white spirit if it's oil-based.

Now, for painting, it does an excellent job. You need a rhythm and successive sweeping of the surface with slow up-down or right-left movements in strips, each strip overlapping the adjacent one by 50%. With use, you'll find the ideal distance (depends on the type and fluidity of the paint).

It's ideal for outdoor spaces, for fences, pergolas, decks, wood in general with impregnating varnishes, railings, exterior walls, etc.

For indoor spaces (at least for me), I would avoid it. It creates a lot of mist (which is, after all, its operating principle) that does stick to the surface you're painting, but about 10% remains suspended in the air. These microdroplets are either inhaled (so DEFINITELY wear a mask) or drift and settle wherever they want (and not where you want). This means you need very meticulous covering with tape, plastic, cardboard, etc., of all surfaces you don't want to accidentally paint. But this way, you lose the unique advantage of air painting, which is speed, because the time it takes to cover the free surfaces will be more than if you painted traditionally with brushes, rollers, etc. (unless you're painting the whole house a la Mr. Bean :-)

Of course, at the end of each job, very good cleaning with water for water-based paints and solvent for solvent-based ones.

Among the accessories, there is also a T-shaped plastic tool for removing the needle. Don't try it because it's most likely the needle will break and then you'll have to throw away the gun. It cleans just fine without removing the needle (fortunately, though, there is a relatively cheap spare).

So I bought this product the day before yesterday.. It has a solid construction, it's beautiful and impressive. I would say that the compressor makes quite a bit of noise, which is understandable considering it's 700 watts. The machine is lightweight and has a long hose, so it's easy to move around and doesn't tire your hand. I tested it for my job as a painter, using it to spray plastic paint with the proper dilution that I need. It covers the surface well, but what bothered me is that at the beginning, when you press the trigger to spray the paint, it spits it out a bit and scatters it, creating droplets. However, if you go over it again, it covers everything. I think it might need some adjustment because I didn't have time to look into it further, so I will come back to it later. But I'm sure that no matter what adjustment you make, it will still spit out the paint at the beginning instead of spreading it like some other specific guns. Anyway, it works great for walls, ceilings, fences, with thick paints and sagre. Of course, I'm talking about plastic paint. I will come back when I use it for varnishes and water-based primers for doors and tables. Tested on 15/7 for painting doors... No, it doesn't work and I wasn't satisfied. Also, you can't adjust the venturi in front of the opening and closing. Additionally, the previous time I used it with plastic paint and cleaned it thoroughly for about 20 minutes, it didn't spray the paint from both nozzles. It only sprayed the paint after a while. It's not suitable for professional work, only for amateur use. I won't buy it again and I don't think I will use it again

So, you know... I bought the machine to paint the 30-year-old radiators in my house, which if I had the money, I would simply... throw away. They were that bad. Damaged, rusty... terrible. The idea of the electric paint gun that I was admiring a couple of years ago comes to mind, I go on skroutz, I see this one, I read the descriptions and I say... well, it's okay, I can spend around 70 euros... I've wasted that much on stupid things here and there. Anyway, using a brush and roller, I was sure that the result would be disappointing, so I thought... they're already going to be terrible, so let me make them terrible with the gun :) But if it works... I hit the jackpot. It should be noted that this is the first time I would be using a paint gun. I purchased the machine and immediately started the preparation which, as it turned out, was the most difficult part of the whole process. I bought an attachment for the angle grinder, which was a wire brush with very thick bristles. I sanded and resanded them, used sandpaper to remove the thick bristles left by the brush, cleaned them with nitric acid and... after a lot of effort, sweat, despair, and... stubbornness and patience, they were ready for painting. I had read in the comments here on skroutz that it sprays a lot of paint, so being suspicious, before I started, I completely closed the flow, gradually opened it and tested it on a large cardboard to see the amount it sprays. When I adjusted it to my liking (a very easy process), the rest came naturally until the end of the work... As I progressed and got the hang of the tool, I increased the flow, which also accelerated the process. In conclusion: The radiators became LIKE NEW. The machine exceeded ALL my expectations. The length of the air and power hose was just right, so I didn't feel uncomfortable at all throughout the work. I should note that it includes a strap to 'wear' the compressor and walk around while painting, but I didn't need it in my case. It is easily cleaned with nitric acid, just like cleaning a metal surface (I had seen people cleaning it). The only negative thing I found in the tool is that it is quite noisy. I have no experience with other machines of this type to have a comparison, but... as a passionate DIY-er, I know quite well about tool noises in general. Well, this one is quite noisy. After some continuous use, my ears were buzzing (literally). And I was painting in an open space. I estimate that using headphones or ear protection is necessary for prolonged use. Next, I will paint doors and cabinets with water-based paint, so I will add to the experience I will gain with this type of painting, on flat surfaces and with a different type of paint.
