Description

The TP-LINK TL-PA7010P KIT is a Powerline network extension kit that allows you to extend your Ethernet network throughout your home using your existing electrical wiring. The kit includes two Powerline adapters, one to connect to your router and one to connect to the device you want to expand.

The TP-LINK TL-PA7010P KIT is easy to use. Simply plug the adapter connected to your router into an outlet near your router, then plug the adapter connected to your device into an outlet near that device. Then, connect the two devices using an Ethernet cable.

The TP-LINK TL-PA7010P KIT offers data transfer speeds of up to 1,000 Mbps, enough to support HD video streaming, online gaming, and other high-bandwidth applications. The kit also features an Ethernet port on each adapter, so you can connect any devices with an Ethernet port.

1000Mbps!

Featuring advanced HomePlug AV2 technology, the TL-PA7010P KIT provides users with high-speed data transfer rates of up to 1000Mbps, ideal for bandwidth-intensive applications such as multiple streams of HD/3D/4K video, online gaming, and large file transfers.

Gigabit Port for Ultra-Fast Data Sheet Transfer

With one Gigabit Ethernet port, the TL-PA7010P KIT allows users to connect a high-bandwidth device to the Internet at high speeds and ensures smooth Ultra HD streaming. This makes the TL-PA7010P KIT the perfect companion for home entertainment.

Plug and Play, No configuration required

Connect a powerline adapter to the router, plug another powerline adapter into a socket in another room, and connect it to your Internet-enabled device via Ethernet - and you're all set!

Additional socket for extra devices

Where outlets are limited, the TL-PA7010P KIT with built-in AC pass-through socket means that power cables can be used just like a traditional socket. Connect your smart TV or game consoles to the powerline, as if it were a regular socket. No outlet needs to be wasted. The built-in noise filter helps prevent electrical noise from affecting the performance of the powerline.

Energy savings up to 85%

The TL-PA7010P KIT, a next-generation powerline adapter with a practical design and advanced energy-saving features, automatically switches from normal "Work" mode to "Energy Saving" mode, reducing power consumption by up to 85%.

If you want it to extend your Internet coverage, then it's OK as usually it doesn't exceed 50.

If you want it for LAN, then stay away.

I made a mistake because even though it synchronizes at 480, the speed on LAN does not exceed 120. I spoke with tp-link and they told me that in LAN, the speed does not exceed 30% of the link's speed, but they didn't tell me why this happens or comment that normally the speed should be that of the Link and they don't mention it anywhere. I didn't expect 1000, but not even 120 with a 480 link.

Generally, I am satisfied. It works well, INCLUDING in a three-phase installation, like the one I have in the house I live in, and maintains stable connections at very good speeds.
For an apartment, I imagine it would work perfectly.
Personally, a drawback is the significant volume, but... okay. Apart from that (or when volume is not an issue), it does its job perfectly.
As an alternative option - and for a smaller volume with equally stable connections but some speed limitations - I would also recommend the 4010 from TR.
To provide wifi, it requires quite a bit more money (see 8610).

Amazing product. They connected immediately (real plug n' play) and so far I haven't seen any disconnections.

The most important thing is that they work on three-phase power without any issues. Without being an electrician, but from the points where I have installed them, I understand that the outlets are not on the same line, so for this reason I support that they also don't have a problem with three-phase power.

Unbelievable product, it does what it promises without any losses or disconnections! I connected one kit to the router and placed the other one in the bedroom with the PlayStation. The connection was made automatically without any further settings! I would like the second kit to have WiFi as well, but for the 49 euros I got it from a big chain, I have no complaints! Value for money!

He does his job perfectly. (online gaming).
    Update:
After a year of continuous use, this specific powerline proves to be an excellent tool.
It transfers the DSL that is on the other side of the house to a 10-port hub (1000-port) where all the AV devices and consoles that I have in the rack under the TV are connected (with cables). No hiccups, no coughs, nothing.
    Simply flawless.
