One of the main difficulties faced by children with autism is understanding social rules, which hampers their functional communication with others.
This book serves as a guide for children who fall on the higher end of the autism spectrum, as well as for adults who work with them (parents, teachers, specialists). Its focus is on educating them about social rules and consists of two parts.
The first part includes images and examples of social behaviors based on real events, aimed at children on the higher end of the autism spectrum, and is divided into two age groups (4‒7 and 8–12 years).
The second part is directed towards adults and includes explanations of the examples from the first part along with some suggestions for addressing such behaviors.
