As you run, they don't stay in place much, I have them in black and they're fine, I don't know if it was accidental in white

However, because it is used for soccer on a field with artificial turf, the plastic from the field sticks to the sock and only comes off if you take them off one by one. And with each one you remove, fabric comes off the sock. They are probably too soft, which is why they get tangled with the plastic from the field.
