Instructions for easier use of the dictionary.

The dictionary is written in standard modern Greek with a monotonic system.

The lemma is written in bold characters. The same applies to derived words and the expressions listed.

The lemma is replaced by the symbol (-) where there are examples or expressions, for the sake of space efficiency. The symbol (~) replaces either the entire word or a part of it, so there is no space between the symbol and the remaining part of the word, e.g., afferer [αφέρερ] noun plural trading; commerce; /v. gora ~ trade.

The pronunciation is enclosed in brackets and is represented with Greek characters in the Swedish-Greek section and with Latin characters in the Greek-Swedish section, making the dictionary more user-friendly.

Every possible effort has been made for a more accurate rendering of the pronunciation.

For each lemma, there is a brief grammatical classification (e.g., noun). Where necessary, explanatory terms have been used (e.g., medical).
