The power supply was purchased a few weeks ago on Black Friday for 175 euros, a very good price compared to its regular price. It replaced a 7-year-old Thermaltake Litepower 700w. It was temporarily installed in an old system with an i7 960 with a 130W TDP and a 560ti.

The first impression as soon as it came out of the box is its weight and very well-crafted packaging, definitely giving a premium product feel when you open the box.

Although the power supply is full modular, the cables it includes make your life a bit difficult. The cables are in a flat form and not freely connected like non-modular ones, especially in the backside of the case, which makes things difficult. If they were sleeved in a cylindrical form, it would be more practical, and the only sleeved cable is the main 24-pin cable. All this in an old full tower CoolerMaster 690 ii Advanced, I don't want to imagine what would happen in something smaller.

As for the fan and the noise, as well as the system with the hybrid mode button, personally, whether the fan is working or not, I don't notice any difference. It's not audible, maybe if you stick your ear on it.

One thing I noticed, and I don't know if it's just my idea or not, is that from the first time I used it, I noticed more stable temperatures and consequently more stable fan speeds. If this is true, there is a logical explanation that the currents are more stable under load compared to the old power supply.
