    I bought it in 01/2024. Until today it has operated for a relatively short period with a Philips 10W LED bulb and I have had no electrical problems. It has very good build quality.
    The lower arm is permanently locked and is always in the same position - upright. So, the mechanism with the springs is just decorative elements.
    In the photo I have, we see the red arrows that prevent the movement of the arm.
